Manager/owner lack of accountability!!!!
Check in took 30 minutes due to the clerk not being at the deck. I called twice and they didn’t pick up. So I hunted them down in a room around the corner. She was not properly trained and had to call the manager owner who didn’t pick up for several calls. She couldn’t ( or wouldn’t) let me go to my room despite having paid in full because she didn’t know how to do the 50.00 hold.
I offered to let her photo copy my card but that wouldn’t work. Finally the owner picked up and after another 10 minutes was able to train her to put the hold on my card.
He was not apologetic and pushed back saying “people make mistakes”.
Jacob the day clerk however was great! Good service and pleasant demeanor!
I would have rated the hotel a zero if it weren’t for him. Also there was no sweetener for the coffee in the morning.
