If we hadn’t experienced any issues, this would have been a nice stay. The rooms are spacious, the bathrooms are beautifully renovated, and the location is excellent.
We stayed for six nights, but for the first three our room never cooled to a comfortable temperature. We reported the issue on the first night and were told someone would come fix it, but no one ever did. After the third night, we followed up and were told by another receptionist that “it’s illegal in Europe” for hotel rooms to be set below 22°C. The manager came to our room, said everything was working properly, but offered to move us anyway. The room we were shown was noticeably cooler, and we later learned there actually had been an issue with the AC in our original room.
We were asked to pack quickly so our room could be prepared for the next guests. In the rush, we accidentally left behind a bathing suit and a toiletry bag. We reported this just a few hours later and were told they would look for them. We followed up every day for the rest of our stay, but our belongings were never returned.
The hotel itself has a lot of potential, but the way these issues were handled fell well short of what we expect from a 4-star hotel
