Sleepless night.

We were kept awake with stomping overhead until 11:15 pm when spouse went to front desk to complain and were told that there was ongoing construction on the floor above us. Minimal items on free breakfast buffet. Everything else as expected from older motel.

They are doing renovations to fix this very large hotel. The renovations didn’t affect my area in any way. Super nice staff and very accommodating. I will stay again.

Chair in room was broken. A/C unit was not working properly. Would not stay on. Breakfast room was not monitored and no food or coffee was available. Other guest had gone through early. We tried to get coffee at 8am and there was nothing.

Opened too soon!

The hotel was in a shambles they’re working on everything. The room was nice, but everything was put together half ass. The stopper for the bathroom door fell off. The hanger rack was not attached well to the wall they need to update their TVs. The beds were comfy. the hallways had a lot of stains on carpet The pool was nice but the pool area was a mess overflowing garbages

In need of some serious renovations and TLC

Property is run down and outdated. Main entrance was nice but when you leave that area everything was dirty. Stained carpets, unvacuumed floors, dirty walls and trash decorated the halls. Indoor pool was a gem. Trash in the pool, the surrounding area was disgusting. Over flowing trash bins, stains on the carpet. Yes carpet in the pool area. The pool water was a cool refreshing 90° within what felt like a steam room. No ventilation. The room was somewhat clean. Sheer curtains left us with no privacy at night and let all the early sunlight in. The AC unit had one noise level.. jet blast. Which made watching tv almost inaudible. If you turn the AC off the room felt like an oven. The TV had to be actively updated by an employee for 20 minutes as we sat in awkward silence in the room. The beds were lumpy and had very creeky springs. Toilet ran all night adding to the plethora of loud ambient noise. *Shower faucets didn't work* An Employee had to come and man handle the faucet knob almost pulling the pipe out of the wall. Water came on but the shower head didn't work. I was told we could use the shower in the next room over. No discount was entertained. Continental breakfast... more like dry bagels and cereal, old hard boiled eggs and a waffle iron that didn't work. We stayed one night and will never return.
Sheer curtains. I could see in my room from outside if any light was on in the room.

The building has come a long way with its repairs and renovations but there’s still a lot to do. Covering damage with wallpaper is only a temporary fix. The room itself was very clean.

Fine… just fine.

Let me preface this with the staff was great and super accommodating to the best of their ability. The frustrating and inconvenient part was that when I booked it, I specifically asked for a first floor, knowing there were two floors, even called the hotel to confirm that it would be a first floor since my mother who is 90 years old and walks with a cane cannot do steps. Upon check-in, we find out that to access the first floor you need to go up one step to get to the front door and then six steps to get to the registration desk and to the “first floor”. Thankfully, she was able to get herself up the steps very cautiously with the assistance of both my father and myself in front and behind her. I was annoyed that I went out of my way to have a conversation with the hotel to ask them for the specific reason and wasn’t told there are six steps that you have to come up to even get your reception and this first floor of rooms. Not really sure what we would’ve done had she been in a wheelchair situation. Additionally, I did pay it the hotel when I made the reservation and when we got there, my dad gave them his credit card however, I found out later that evening when I checked my account online, my card had already been charged before check in.

DON'T Recommend

Extremely run down. My shower leaked and covered the entire bathroom with water. My smoke alarm kept going off. Bed sheets were dirty. Floor was dirty. Door didn't close on its own, you had to force it. TV was broken. The whole placed smelled like mold and cat pee. No trash can or anywhere to put your garbage.

Give it a try hopefully you won’t be disappointed

I’m giving this property three stars because the staff are amazingly friendly. They had no issues at all moving us to a different room when we experienced an issue with our shower. And the rooms are very clean. The overall property needs to have attention to pay to it. They are updating the rooms, but I’m not sure there was a single exterior door that locked. Some of them didn’t close. The outside in front entrance area are very rundown although I believe they’re being worked on. The main entrance and the breakfast area are nice. And the continental breakfast that was provided was Adequate for the price. I hope they continue to make improvements in our successful since I would hate to see a locally run business.
