Hotels.com
I won't book through Hotels.com again as the price of a room booked directly by me is much cheaper.

Toilet
Bathing in the tub gives you a birds-eye view of the inside of the toilet. One of the "under-rings" inside was unclean. Can't be seen from above, just from the tub. Might be picky on my part, but excrement anywhere is bad.

This hotel needs to be removed from your list of hotels. The place is a dump! The front desk person said, they only clean rooms when they get a registered guest. That scares me. I canceled our reservations

The staff was very friendly & professional. That's where the good ends. The breakfast was minimal. The hotel & room were filthy. We had spiders in our room. The carpet was disgusting in our room & hallways. We had a non smoking room but some one was smoking near us & our room stunk. Under the air conditioner/heater there was no flooring so the pink insulation was stuck in there & visible. There is a homeless camp behind the building & a lot of trash. Don't believe the pictures of the nice sitting area behind the hotel, its not at all like that. Worst hotel ever. We did survive our stay without getting bed bugs.

BREAKFAST WAS VERY SATISFYING INCLUDING HOT FOOD. BRUCE WAS VERY ACCOMODATING AND HELPFULL THROUGHOUT OUR STAY.

Clean and quiet
The room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. The front and hallways look a little older but they were clean and we were really happy with our stay. It was affordable and we had two good nights so we will be back.

Room was clean and very cold. Heater did not work. Asked for extra blankets but They ended up bringing a radiant heater to our room. Toilet seat ready to fall off. Mold around the outside windows. Parking lot a mess.

From the outside, the parking lot that could easily hold a couple hundred cars was completely empty and it looked like it was shut down. Google maps kept sending me further down the road so I thought maybe they rebuilt elsewhere... Nope. In the late 70s maybe early 80s this place was probably pretty amazing but it presents as barely hanging on now. Very little is notable as upgraded or improved from original construction. Sign(s) on doors saying pool, lounge, and restaurant are not open (and loky not open for a very long time). My room was huge and the bed was comfortable and clean. The carpet was frayed, there were dirty (greasy) had marks on the door, the shower curtain, and light switch plates. A lot of litter behind the TV stand and chairs are mismatched, malfunctioning, and not comfortable - furniture is pretty neat up and bits broken, shower has great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Not many people around so it is very quiet and set back from the main road so no street noise. The name Riverview is deceiving as you cannot see the river from the motel... There is a little pathway down to the river but I HIGHLY suggest you avoid going down there as the litter is atrocious and appears as though destitute folks may live/sleep down there... Overall, the 3 staff I talked with were very friendly and helpful. For the price, I don't think I would ever stay here again... As another reviewer posted, if you don't have high expectations you'll be fine.

Photos on Expedia don’t represent the current conditions of the Riverfront Hotel. Pool, restaurant and lounge are all closed with no plan to reopen. Riverfront patio no longer exists. Entire facility appears as though its golden era was 20 years ago. Was probably a show place back then. Staff was adequately helpful. Book your stay here with low expectations and you will be satisfied.

The area is nice. I believe the property was great in it's heyday. The rooms apear nice on first impression, although the main areas are clean they are not. The tv didn't work, the bedside lamps did not work, the CO detector randomly alerted, food containers under the bed. This along with a guy smoking a joint / weed in the lobby as we were leaving in the morning... . Not on my recommendation list.

The property is run down. The place smells like smoke and must. When we went to our rooms, they were both occupied. When we went back to the front desk, they acted totally surprised, but then had to check to see if anyone was in the next rooms selected. At this point I gave the key back and walked out
