Booked and paid in full end Jan for 1 June weekend, a room with 2 beds. My reservation was confirmed. I was called less than a week prior and informed that due to a later group booking, I was losing my room with 2 beds. I was offered a king bed, or a refund and an opportunity to look after finding my own room a further 30 minutes away. There was no manager available to speak to. I explained that I had booked and prepaid, and expected two beds. I was further offered a rollaway as a second bed. Check in took approx 20 minutes, as the new crewmember fumbled through the software while the other one sat and looked at her phone. I again inquired about getting two beds, and was told very bluntly that we had a rollaway. The room (101) is a room sized for a queen bed, with a king instead. The rollaway was filthy, with a pad less than 3 inches thick. I left it at the reception. There was a fan running for all three nights outside our door, cooling off the mildewed towels left under a malfunctioning ice machine. It was not touched by staff during our stay. In the room, the heavy steel bathroom door needs to be rehung, as it is resting on the tile floor and requires great effort to open or close. Upon checkout, I asked once more if the hotel was fully booked for the weekend, and was told yes. Despite the parking lot containing perhaps 10 vehicles. This property and staff are not up to the standard of Comfort Inn and Suites. I recommend all staff view the Seinfeld clip on reservations.
