We did not ask for a first floor room because we didn't realize there wasn't an elevator. No first floor rooms were available and we were told that "it's only a short walk up the stairs". My wife uses a crutch, so carrying cases upstairs was the issue. When we learned the Foxwoods shuttle only runs Friday and Saturday nights, we were told "it's only 3 miles down the road." The "deluxe Continental breakfast was not deluxe, but doable (breads, apple or bananas, maybe yogurt, make your own waffles, oatmeal packets, 3 kinds of dry cereal, juice machine and coffee/tea. There is 1 ice machine and 2 vending machines.
