We called in advance to advise we'd be having a late check in. Staff was understanding of this. Once we walked in, we were welcomed and checked in within minutes. Considering this Inn is next-door to a casino where smoking is allowed inside, the lobby smells of cigarettes. It made my stomach hurt to be there but it made me thankful that the staff was efficient during check in. We arrived at our room (standard 2 queens) it was neat and clean nothing out of place. the bed was as comfortable as can be in order to be universally accommodating. the pillows are difficult to work with. They are fluffy but fall flat when they're laid upon for hours and you'd have to fold them in half to get a proper side-sleeping posture for an adult with medium width/birth shoulders. I usually bring my own pillows but failed to do so this time. Again, it is tough to make sure everyone has a pillow or bed that suits their own personal needs and preferences. Upon our check in I was advised Breakfast, even continental, is not free so we opted out of purchasing this. I was told $10 for continental and $12 for hot breakfast. I figured, at this cost the convenience might be nice but I could easily opt for something I'd much rather prefer. Toiletries provided are soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, and facial tissues. For 1 night it was fine. Asking for more isn't an issue and I always bring my own but most Inns and hotels have moved towards offering a larger bottle which stays in the room.
