Wouldn't stay again.
Our first room was so dirty, food everywhere, sticky floor, overall gross. The second room they put us in was slightly cleaner than the first. However, the bed was extremely uncomfortable. They charged $5 to go down a sketchy waterslide. The waterslide was about to crumble.

Will never stay in another Howard Johnson. EVER
Terrible. The kids spilled some apple juice on one of the beds and we never got more bedding. I asked for room service in the morning. Never came. When we got back I asked again at the desk and housekeeping was gone for the day. I asked if we could just have some bedding and I would make the bed. They brought some sheets but no blankets while I was out. My 15 year old answered the door and said the man was scary so she wouldn't let him in. When I got back from dinner I again went to the desk to ask for a blanket and the clerk was so mean. She said my kids were rude and refused to get me a blanket. She told me if I didn't like it to call the owner and gave me their card. Obviously we left then. I'm not staying in a hotel that won't give you bedding to sleep with. The absolute worst experience I've ever had at a hotel. I get it that it's a pain to have to get something for someone but to tell me my kids were rude... over the top. They're 15 and 17 year old girls. Some man knocking at the door who looks homeless is a little scary for them.

Good stay good value
There wasn’t anything exceptionally spectacular to say about my stay. It was comfortable and clean. I didn’t know that they didn’t have an elevator and failed to ask for a bottom room. Other than that I felt like it was a good stay and would recommend the property to my friends and family.

Do better!
The waterslide and pool werent included with the stay of the room, has to pay extra at the front desk to use the pool. There was a huge drinking party and fighting next door to our room that shook the walls at 1:30 in the morning. We tried calling front desk numerous times to report it and no one would answer. We recorded the loudness on our phone. When checking out we brought it to the front desk attention, all they told us was why we didnt call the cops. We asked to speak to the manager and the lasy at the front said she was the only manager.

First time was great, 2nd not as much
There were ants in the bathroom. Leftover food and mold in the fridge and stains on the sheets . Out of their control -there was a very loud party outside of our room . It was kinda sad because the first time we stayed it was very clean and up to standards. Our kids did love the pool and slide which is why we stayed again .
