Horrible experience at the Days Inn Wyndham Erie l
Horrible. Parking lot was a sheet of ice and I got stuck. The hotel clerk would not help me at the time so I had to wait until morning as promised to be unstuck. Then due to the fact, I was in the front of the lobby parked I had to carry my luggage all the way around to the other side of the property with no help while they sat there and watched me. I am disabled and not strong enough to carry my bags that far so I didn’t get to bring what I needed completely. I had to stop periodically in the hallways after going up a full flight of stairs to rest. Once in my room, I realize the bedding was filthy and stained along with the stain towels in the morning when I wanted to leave, there was no one to help me get unstuck in the parking lot because that person was still there, but apparently went to sleep and was sleeping And unavailable. I slipped across the parking lot to my car on wet ice and then waited for over an hour until somebody finally came to give me help. And those helpers were just kind people and not the hotel staff. One nice gentleman that worked in the hotel that came in that morning to set up. The breakfast was so kind and apologetic, but of course he wasn’t able to help me and couldn’t leave the lobby, but he tried. The whole experience was a nightmare. I did not get a proper stay a proper sleep or a proper change of clothes and what not to start my day fresh. I will be filing a complaint further in corporate for the conditions and experience in a Wyndham hotel.
