Underwhelming and outdated haunted hotel
I wish I had known ahead of time that this would not be a typical “hotel experience”. The pictures and description do not reveal that the property is not updated. So it lacks modern amenities. It’s very small and the site is amidst a suburban, residential community . The property was at least 3 stories high without an elevator. The stairs were incredibly steep and squeaky. My daughter fell trying to come down, so I would not recommend to families with children or physically impaired. The rooms are very small and no central AC/Heat. I haven’t seen a radiator in almost 30 years. I was afraid that the curtains would catch fire!!! I was not comfortable with how old the property was and it almost felt like the beginning of a haunted hotel movie.
That being said, the property was at least cleaned. Manny at the front desk was so courteous and appeared offended that we would carry our bags by ourselves. He also gave helpful tips for navigating the area. The other employees appeared indifferent, and they barely spoke. What the property lacked in amenities could have been made up with in customer service, but it was a let down.
