The check in was uneventful, however the hallways were full of noisy children until 1:00 in the morning and the walls were paper thin. I could hear everything, and I MEAN EVERYTHING, from the rooms around me. The pillows were thick foam and smelled of someone else's perfume. The bed was incredibly uncomfortable. The room was well maintained and the cleaning staff were efficient and considerate. Considering how much I paid for the two night stay I was expecting a little more comfort and response when I complained about the noise. As an educator I was dismayed to see young children unsupervised at all hours of the night in a casino environment. Children are not allowed in the hot tub according to the posted signs and state law, yet the two hot tubs in the pool area were ALWAYS choked with children under ten. The one night we wanted to use the pool during adult hours, the pool attendant said it was closing (it was 8:30) even though it was posted to close at 9:00. Although I appreciated the convenience of staying on site at the casino, I have to question the value considering what was provided at Pequot.
