The front office clerk on check in did not greet me or make eye contact.
I approached the front to check in, he yawned and started the routine process.
Never told me about the hotel amenities or where the elevators were located.
In the morning, the Starbucks staff was moderately friendly but not knowledgeable when it came to the drinks.

Anytime we visit San Jose, this is where we stay. Rather we are with friends or just my husband and I. Nice comfy place to stay. Very friendly and clean.

The customer service at this location is top notch. I booked this place thinking it would just be a mundane stay, but the staff changed that. We had several special needs traveling with a baby and toddler and everything was met, including storing breast milk for us, a crib, and prompt maid service. This location is also walking distance to a great park, the farmers market and many restaurants.

When you first walk into the lobby of a hotel is always when you get your first impression. You want it to look clean, professional, inviting, spacious, safe, appealing, non ordinary and inviting. This place did and had a large, comfortable area to sit and hangout.

Hotel is outdated. Mini fridge cabinet door stay pen am the time bc it was too large for the space which could be a safety issue. Shower was very dated. Food was terrible. I prefer the basic a flatbread pizza and fries and it was terrible. The two individuals that prepared it were not very customer service oriented nor did they know what they were doing. The both referred to a book to prepare drinks for another guest.
