Unexpected
We booked this hotel because the photos they had on their website looked fabulous, the reviews were not so bad, and the price was decent. We got there and noticed right away there was nothing Grande about the place. The customer service was decent. The photos of said room were very nice online, but when we entered the room it was something you would find at a motel 8. To get to the second floor we had to walk down 2 hallways and up 2 flights of stairs, no elevators. The bedroom was decent sized and the king bed was comfortable. The living area had a chair with ottoman, a sleeper sofa, and a little kitchenette, everything smelled like wet dog. The floor was warped and caved in. One of the mirrors was cracked and there were rips and patched holes in the walls and ceilings. We had to go down to the lobby to get extra bedding and towels even though they knew we were a party of 4. Now lets talk about the pool. The pictures online and even on their Facebook page make the pool look great. In reality it was like swimming in a lake. The water and the room was really cold. The room was creating condensation which was dripping down the windows and there was alge growing in patches all around the bottom of the windows and in the cracks around the pool. Don't expect them to uphold the quiet time rule also. There were extremely rowdy people all through the hotel after 11pm. My kids had a hard time getting to sleep. For $200+ a night this place is not worth it :(
