The hotel is located on the seafront and has a wonderful view, you can take a walk along the beach and the hotel is right there. It’s a very quiet and safe place, the rooms are in good conditions and kept very clean. It was a pleasant experience.

I love this place. It's not updated, but no one comes to Wildwood to sit in the room. They have the biggest pool, the ocean is across the street, every room is oceanfront, there is a bar, and a place to eat breakfast and lunch. They also have the best prices down here, so this will continue to be my spot when I'm in town.

When we checked in the AC was only working at 20% so we were given box fans it wasn’t bad with the ocean breeze but August may be rough. The staff is super sweet and did everything they could to make our trip enjoyable. Beautiful place and location, just needs lots of upgrades

Fix the air conditioning

I love the place the location the people the view. The rooms are clean dated clean. The air conditioning didn't work in June and it still wasn't working this trip with days in the 90s. We had to have the balcony and our room door kept open to get a breeze. They did afford us a fan, but that did not keep the room cool enough. It was very uncomfortable.

The room had no air conditioning, they try bringing us a fan. They couldn’t get us to another room cause there was issues with the other rooms so the whole weekend I was there I got no air. it was back-and-forth with management about a discount still waiting.

The place is in a great location right off the beach every room has an ocean view which is gorgeous the problem was the rugs were from the 1960s the air conditioner barely worked the room was hot as hell we had luckily there was a breeze coming off the ocean to keep our door open the bathroom was a disgrace the caulking around the tub was moldy

Great ocean view and cafe!

The food was amazing especially breakfast. Our ocean view was why we booked and it didn’t disappoint us. The hotel owners clearly are responding to the previous reviews bc the improvements started. The damp smell is due to the proximity to the water/sea air and no aircon on but it aired out well, clean sheets and newer blankets. Also, the detergent they use caused another smell, well, it’s a motel and older so it requires strong disinfectant. About its age, the 80s furniture was like staying at a time capsule to me. I thought the previous reviews must be due to keeping this place a secret for the older folks like me who want the old wildwood nostalgia but honestly the aircon needs to be updated. Overall, it’s in an excellent location and the pool was used by all of us. Great time so I’ll be back.

I really hate to give them a not so good review. But here goes…the staff was very nice. The room we were in had very bad water damage and smelled. The air conditioner was on but not cold. However there were two floor fans that we used. The kitchen area was nice and clean and the balcony was nice with an ocean view. I think all the rooms had an ocean view. So sorry to give them a bad review but I had too. Maybe other rooms weren’t bad but I don’t know. Internet connection wasn’t great either. Pool was nice

We looked at 3 rooms, all were pretty nasty. We paid for a kitchen but stayed in a room without a kitchen. The lock was sticking so bad we had a hard time opening it and the room smelled really bad. Another rooms air conditioning was broken and only made very loud noise. The room we stayed in was the least smelly but the air conditioner dudnt work. The ladies at the desk were very nice but the owner just gave us dirty looks. I've been staying in old motel rooms for 40 years and this was by far the worst! I am not that picky. Pieces of plaster were falling from the ceiling, walls were skakey and the carpet was absolutely gross. We were afraid to be the onky ones eating in their restaurant.

5 star location 0 star facility. If I could put negative star rating I would. Let’s first start with the reviews. The rooms are out dated but still an ok facility from the outside looking in. I called ahead of time (after reading them) to ensure the air conditioning was working. The owner said “yes it’s working everyone writes reviews that does not mean it is true” well, the reviews were VERY true. When I arrived I turn the AC on only to hear the compressor turn on & no air. When I went down to the front desk and asked why she said HVAC was there fixing the air. A few hours go by I go to the pool and the owner stops me to tell me the electrical company was contacted and they were waiting for arrival. I sat by the pool for an hour went upstairs got myself & child together and went to the boardwalk. Before heading to the boardwalk I was greeted by an older woman who says “the electrical team will be here in an hour thank you for your patience” By no surprise I returned 2 hours later and the air was still not working. I went back down to the desk and asked why I was told the electrical company would be coming in the morning to trip the breaker back on and I would be brought two fans (one for my bedroom the other for my daughters) 2 hours later an older gentleman knocks on the door and brings us one single fan. After an hour goes back I returned to the front desk and asked where the other fan was. I was told no one could enter the rooms until 2 am to grab another fan for us (I kn

Views were awesome and that is about it. We got there checked in went to our room no air conditioning, they gave us another room where there was some air but not cold blowing through the vent…..had to go out and purchase fans…..no competition offered at all. We weren’t the only one complaining. When I checked out they stated it will be fixed next year….rooms are ok but definitely run down. They should take down the marble in the reception and invest back into the hotel.
