Our cabin smelled awful, blinds were all broken so anyone could look in, there was a blood spot on the blanket when we arrived, broken floorboards, dumpster outside overflowing and smelly, garbage and dog poop around the property, and tons of dead bugs in windowsills. Would not recommend. I will say staff was nice but it was pretty gross and we couldn’t wait to get out of there.

Not the cleanest

The room was dirty, cobwebs in every corner, dust, wet used washcloth left lying on the shower floor, so the shower was obviously not cleaned…. The floor was sinking in the bathroom…. I was nervous about sleeping in the covers due to the rest of the condition of the room so I slept on top of everything. Plus there was a nicer cleaner cheaper hotel across the street. Next time I will go there.

Sad stay

This place was so dirty. Cob webs all over and mold dead flies in the window seal. Bed was dirty too. We paid as lot of money for this stay too be like that. We was on our way home and they called and said we took the coffee pot there wasn't one there in the room when I got there. We told her if the room was cleaned before we got there she would e know there wasn't one there. We would never stay there again.

Cute place, good location and ice cream!

For a budget-friendly motel this was a nice place. The location is beautiful, the service was good, and coming back to delicious ice cream after dinner was a huge plus! There is a coffee maker, mini fridge and a fan, hot water in the shower and toiletries. It could have been a little cleaner, there were some foreign hairs in the bathroom and a mild musty smell, but I have stayed at a lot of similar motels and this one was pretty good.

Terrible Stay – Unclean and Unsafe Conditions We booked two nights at Curley’s Resort and Dive Shop in Sekiu, WA (July 5–7, 2025) but left after one night due to serious health and safety concerns. The unit was filthy—smelled like syrup, full of dust, cobwebs, insects, and a broken, stained sofa bed with no sheets. My girlfriend and children’s asthma flared up immediately. I politely asked for a different room but was told none were available. When I requested a refund for the second night, I was met with hostility and falsely accused of breaking the sofa, which was already broken on arrival. The manager dismissed our concerns, saying I “chose to come to a rural area,” as if that justified unsanitary conditions. I’m in the military and have stayed in many rural places—none this poorly maintained. Avoid this place if you care about your health, comfort, or being treated with respect.
