10/10 Exceptional

Great historic property, owner was terrific.
Brown, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

I think the property was great for the price. It was really old looking and dressed up really nice. The only thing that could be better was the shower floor. Glad we stayed had a great rest.

The place is old. Ok lots are and not constantly renovating is eco-friendly. That said, the hotel is for sale so it feels like the business is being limped along. The quality of the bedding is cheap. Pillows are lumpy and the mattress worked for a night but was lumpy too. The shower didn’t drain well so you’re standing in a puddle. 2 towels provided for 4 guests. Crowded room for a family. Appreciate the accommodation but the place needs some attention.

I’m pace was fine but the noise from the main road is brutal.

old fashioned and budget-friendly hotel.

Great spot

8/10 Very good

It is an old, "cowboy period" hotel. The rooms reflect what it may have been like at the turn of the 20th Century while also affording a few modern amenities like TV and internet. Yes, there is no air-conditioning and yes, if the room has a bathroom, it is small but the character of the place is so unique and the bed comfortable. Leave a window open and turn on the ceiling fan, all is good!

10/10 Exceptional

It's older, clean, squeaky wood floors; this place oozes with rustic charm.

Time travel

Great place, old but well-maintained. Loved the contactless checkin.

...wonderful stay in Kremmling. Room was immaculate, good little coffee service in the morning, didn't hear our neighbors except when they went down the hall, and with the northern Colorado air there's no need for AC. A+

very unique space! liked the ease of check-in. was not aware we had a shared bathroom however. yet, good place to stay for a night on our road trip!

6/10 Good

Noisy but nice for the money.

Old vintage hotel. wooden stairs and floors were extremely noisy. If you stay, get a room on the 2nd floor far away from the stairs. Room was nice for the price and bed was very comfortable.

Very unique property dont be fooled by the outside appearance, open the door and step back in time

The hotel has a great location within walking distance of everything in town. The art and antiques are a bonus. Both nights I was there I had to listen to a young couple who did not put their toddler down, one night approaching midnight. I might suggest you implement a "Quiet Time," say 10 PM and enforce it.

This very old hotel was totally unique and captured a slice of Colorado from simpler times. Loved all the old Decore. If you are looking for standard modern convenience of a chain hotel this may not be for you. If you enjoy antiques, old fixtures and construction, and curiosities around every corner this may be your place. Sorry I didn't get to meet the owner - they use a key drop method.

Pictures on the internet very misleading.no A/C in room only a ceiling fan.no private bathroom.community bathroom.no but hell no I would never recommend this place to anyone I like.and they do not ever have to worry about me coming back.
Paul, 1-night trip

Would not recommend this place

This was one of the worst hotels I have stayed in. The fan and overhead light were connected, the remote did not work, and so we could not have a fan on overnight. I got locked out outside because there was no front desk, and because they neglected to say that there was a code to get back into the building in the morning. The place is neat but very shabby. We never saw or spoke to anyone affiliated with the hotel. I appreciate a family-run business, but things like a fan, and getting into the hotel, are things that should be basic to a hotel.
Sarah, 1-night trip

No A/C

The lack of air conditioning was not mentioned and it was sorely needed on a 90 degree day. Opened the window about 10p when things had cooled off, but no circulation, a bunch of folks were having a party just outside the back of the bldg. The room otherwise was ok, but bathroom was down the hall. And as a historical property all the wooden floors/stairs creak with everyone's step. If it was a hostel, ok, but it is listed as a hotel.
1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Booked from Expedia and expected a normal hotel room with a private bathroom. It was not super-clear that the room I booked has only a shared bathroom unless I read into details. I booked a twin bed room but was given a double bed room. The room is very small, slightly larger than the bed and has no temperature control. The room is in basement and the floor is coated concrete floor. No staff is on site, truly a contactless transaction.

6/10 Good

Toilet in room would not flush and overflowed. Called for assistance two different times with no response or assistance.
John, 1-night trip

8/10 Very good

I needed a last-minute economical room to stay in before my son's MTB race in Steamboat. The John Denver theme room looked "interesting" and was the only one available. Last minute my younger daughter decided to come also. I brought a foam mattress and sleeping bag for her. Kids were sort of skeptical when we parked (they need a better parking lot light, btw). We all thought it was sort of cool, with the log cabin style headboard and wall treatment. Bathroom had a strange layout with only a small space between the toilet and corner of the shower, to access the sink. Anyhoo, it worked for one night although we were a bit sleep deprived in the morning because there wasn't really any room for the bedroll on the floor because sonny insists on bringing in his beloved and expensive bike inside due to fear of theft, even when locked up. We all slept in the comfy king bed but daughter moves a lot when sleeping so it wasn't the best sleeping situation. Anyways, all in all, an OK place to stay for a night
SCOTT, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Quaint, charming. Creaky floors OK! Needs work.

No on site person in sight. The place could make capital of its rustic Western quaintness and nearness to Kremmling Cliffs and reservoir-lake recreation opportunities. But it needs updated infrastructure. Half-way to 21st century.
Victor, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Do not stay

Room was very small with no AC. Bathroom was even smaller knees against the shower if using toilet. Shower was filthy.
