Love, love, love

We absolutely love it here. This is our go to spot when available. Always clean rooms, small hotel, very clean pool and on the beach.

Good value

Hotel is older and needs some improvements but not bad for the price. Should get a coffee maker in the rooms

Awesome place to stay with beach front rooms and overlooking the pool and it’s close to dominos

Hole in the wall.

Pictures online are very deceiving. Hotel is actually closed. You have to check-in at the naboring hotel. No housekeeping or maintenance on call. No elevator. Not handicapped friendly. Parking lot is small and grazzy. Rooms are small, outdated & cluttered. No phone , coffee makerBeds are mount in old spring frames that squeak every move you make. Shower is very tight. Not suited for a large size person. I could go in but you get the drift.

How it went

We loved that it wasnt crowded. Very clean. Walls and windows thin enough to hear outside very well. Fireworks right beside our room at midnight was not good. Bathroom door hits light in ceiling. Great location, will stay again.

Not picture perfect

Hotel room was not very clean nor was the room itself in very good shape. The pictures and description lead consumer to believe the hotel has been renovated recently but that is not the case. The smell of weed permeates the property. The hotel office is closed and you must check in at the Days Inn next door. Vagrants sleep on the beach and will approach you as you walk out to the beach in the morning or at night.

ABSOLUTE DISAPPOINTMENT

PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE, EXCEPT FOR LOCATION THERE IS NOTHING HERE I normally don’t write a review but the condition of this place compelled me to write a review so as to let people know that it’s a complete disappointment Absolutely run down place. WEED SMOKERS HEAVEN. Is what this place is. Out of 8 lamps in the room one worked, luckily the bathroom lights worked You may get attracted by the price point but trust me spend a few extra bucks and you will land yourself and your family in a much safer, cleaner and enjoyable place rather than picking BEACHCOMBER INN & SUITES Its absolutely OUTDATED
Kunal, 2-night trip

Was nice and quiet! Went out early with my baby and friend before checkout though around 8:30 am and the guy at the pool was rather rude saying no can’t get in pool or even lay out until 11 which was checkout so that was kind of a downfall. Don’t see why I paid for a booking and didn’t even get to layout or use pool until after checkout time so left.
Hallie, 1-night trip

A few mishaps

Room and hotel grounds not in the best shape. Ice maker not working and very nasty. Overall okay for the location and beach access. the staff was cleaning the pool in the morning and rudely told me and my son to get out and that we couldn’t sit around the pool area either. I was also given a key to an occupied room at first which was super scary when we opened the door and saw someone else’s things in the room

Disappointment at Beachcombers!!!!

Outside was not clean at all! Crack heads smoking crack by pool and in stairways, needle cap at bottom of staircase. Housekeep could only do so much she was very nice and courteous and did what we asked of her! Other staff was nice enough to let us check in early and very polite while others were rude! We were extremely disappointed for the price we paid for the room, we had basically a window ac unit that performed very poorly, a phone that was supposed to make free local calls that had NO CORD (so no phone!!!) And no elevator so had to walk all our suitcases and baggage to the 4th floor... This was a family trip and there was drugs everywhere in this motel!!!
Making the best of our trip!
William, 2-night trip

Not worth what we paid

Hotel itself needs to be updated. The room floor was filthy, missing a phone and a rod to hold clothes up. Drawers were dirty and a lot of gnats flying around. They have no Elevator so the up and down the stairs was not fun. Pool was clean and location was good. Would I stay there again, probably not.
Berline, 3-night trip

6/10 Good

The hotel has no elevator prepare to drag your luguage up the stairs .. rooms where a bit run down and not the cleanest hair was stuck to our towels like long hair the beds where very squeaky but comfortal no bed bugs no roaches it was fine to sleep but if u are going to spend alot of time in the room id say go somewhere else
Kassandra, 2-night trip

2/10 Poor

Be aware

My Uber driver warned me but I was already prepaid. I counted 14 roaches I had to kill. The bedding was stained. Very outdated & I felt unsafe. Only good thing was the location in the beach. I had to eat out or on the beach because the bugs & roaches ruined my appetite. I could rest because the where in the bed.

Most disgusting hotel ever

It won't let me add a video of the cockroaches running around and the several dead ones found in and outside and around the room nor will it shows the video of the balcony door that does not close nor lock absolute biggest rip off hotels.com falsely advertise this I paid over $700 for two nights for this you ruin my family's Fourth of July vacation because of this hotel my son's birthday was ruined on top of that
Back door balcony that does not lock or close unsafe for children a pool right in front of this
Mold and holes
Mold and broken door frame
Mold that has been painted over in the bathroom

room was not as many beds at we were told on listing. portable air conditioners did not work & one leaked water the whole time we were there. room was not super clean but not dirty, would not stay again but it wasn’t a terrible experience but could have been better. staff was friendly!
Lindsay, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

It’s a Small quiet hotel on the beach front and I booked a double bed room for me and my kids. The room was nice for such the low price however the floors were dirty. Me and my kids wore socks or shoes the entire time as long as our feet touched the floor. There was a rust stain on the floor in the corner of the bed frame. And check in had me confused because their office is closed so you would have to check in next door at the days inn. Other than that it’s a decent place. Me and my kids enjoyed the pool and beach. Also wait till 10:30/11am to get into the pool as the don’t come to clean it till like 9/9:30am

It was horrific!! The most ran down and disgusting place we have ever stayed!!! The was mold, filth, and falling apart. Bedbugs under 2 mattress covers! I called hotels.com and they stated I could leave and were sorry for my experience. When i checked out the lady says if o want to see another room. I didn’t have to say anything she laughed and said I can see it on your face that’s a no.
