My stay was not that bad for one night. It was a bed and breakfast type of place very homely and older. You could hear everything going on through the lodge which made it difficult to sleep. Very convient spot off the main road.

Great post ski hotel

We really appreciated being able to eat dinner at the restaurant after a day of skiing and then go upstairs to sleep. The food was reasonably priced and plentiful. The suite was perfect. There were plenty of beds for everyone to sleep and enough space that we didn't feel like we were all on top of one another. Everyone was able to order breakfast off of a menu so even though it was included it felt like getting to eat another restaurant meal.

rough outing

this is a very rustic venue. think of a 1950's rooming house with a series of rooms upstairs from a bar and restaurant. Sort of like a bed and breakfast. Our room was small, old, moldy, and the AC was loud but if not turned on, the air was stagnant. The couple that appeared to be in charge were nice and very relaxed, but had we needed to stay more than one night we would have looked for alternative lodging.

No one was there. Literally had to leave and find another hotel because there was no one there.

Threatened with extortion at check in

When I arrived at night I was told that my payment had been rejected (even though I hadn't received any notice of this) and that if I wanted a room I would have to pay $353 (the room rate quoted was 126€) in cash or with another card. Since I didn't want to be extorted I left and had to find another hotel in rural PA to spend the night. As a woman travelling alone this was not a pleasant experience and I believe hotels.com should remove this property from their listings for this unethical behavior.

Interrupted sleep

The check in process was a joke. We were sent to a room and at 2am someone tried to enter the for about 20 minutes. Come to find out we were sent to the wrong room bc there wad no real check in which means that myself and this other family did not get the rooms we had paid for and were inconvenienced at 2am because of a lack of the most basic practices of running a hotel.
