The view was spectacular and I was fortunate enough to hear (not seeing) a fireworks event that echoed through the mountains!

The room was so bad that i didn't want to lay on the bed and just checked out. Went to another hotel and slept like a baby

Sadly, I think this facility should be avoided. It was very dirty and, frankly a bit scary.

8/10 Very good

Was convenient place to stay while visiting the area for a weekend getaway. Room was clean and neat and the area was quiet. Would stay again.

Nice property for the price. The roof top bar is really cool and there are good views of the bay and ocean from the pool

We payed for the room on the app. However after checking into the room we left. Went down the street and purchased another room. I have stayed in horrible places before but this beats anything i have ever seen.

The only thing that was cheap with this motel was the price. Everything else was above average. I recommand it.

Very nice and friendly staff, very accommodating but the bathroom was never cleaned after previous guest left. I found hairs on the blanket. Microwave was broken.

Good enough for the price and the novelty of it.

The room was small and in disrepair. It was still safe, clean, working facilities and free of bugs. Parking was a bit confusing but all in all it was okay. We just need a place to sleep while traveling this worked out. If you're a fan of The Blair Witch Project movie - part was filmed here. So, thats kinda cool.

The room was dirty. Piss and private hair all over toilet. Used soap in shower. Blood stain on wall in bathroom. Refrigerator didn't work ac hardly worked . There was weed shaking in every drawer of the dresser. Spider webs .just gross. Sketchy place. Don't go here.

Had to wait ten minutes for him to come check us in. Ask for drivers license took copy then spent another 10 minutes looking up something while still looking at my drivers license. Got key get to the room door ajar. Room smelled sheets had been slept in. This place appeared to be being used as rental for for permanent residence. Needless to say we did not stay. Would not recommend this to anyone.

The entries for this place in WAZE and in other Google searches list it as permanently closed. It is not, but it caused me confusion as I attempted to call them while on the road, and the number was listed as out of service (from a Siri query.) I had to stop and search fo another number to find the correct number and confirm I had a reservation. And--it's variously listed as the Knights Inn and the Hillside Hotel. It's the latter. And the place is REALLY worn down. Old furniture, falling apart furniture, nasty bedspread, no TV remote, no coffee, and NO DINING AREA as shown in pictures. You're getting what you pay for.

Stay away!!!

Room 102 was old, disgusting, dirty, and not like photos. They must have updated one room for pictures. No smoke detector (wires hanging from ceiling), electrical outlets had no covers or partial broken covers, lamps didnt work well, floors were sticky, curtains were dirty, smelled like cig/pot and was supposed to be non smoking room. Door wouldnt lock properly and looked like someone previously broke in. No comforter on bed and two small pillows. Gave two adults one towel to share and water pressure was minimal. Overall nasty place and when I told them she dismissed complaints and I said I would make negative review and she said OK. We had to go to walmart and buy two more pillows, blanket, TP and frebreeze! Stay away! Not even decent enough for a night!
Wires for smoke detector which is missing hazard
Door that was not latching properly and light coming through
Nasty stained chair
No cover on outlet. Hazard

6/10 Good

Adequate for restful sleep

The sheets were visibly stained, but felt clean. No other issues with cleanliness, but the toilet would run sporadically, necessitating manually shutting off the water to it. I checked in well after dark, and was dismayed to find that the lobby was closed and locked. When I found the window, I had to call for assistance and wait in the cold and windy night. Parking is adequate, but the markings are not clearly visible in the dark. Given the facility's obvious age, I was pleasantly surprised at the modern proximity key for the door. There was plenty of space for me, but the room would have been crowded with another adult and even one small child. The bed area warmed adequately in a reasonable amount of time, but even when I set the temperature higher in the morning, the bathroom remained uncomfortably cold. The minifridge kept my food cold, but the excessive frost on the open freezer compartment took up a lot of space.

Absolute dump!

The worst experience I have ever had!!! The room was horrible! The base of the lamp on the bedside table had broken apart and just pushed back together. The lamp shades were cracked and falling apart. The curtain had pinholes in it and was covered in dust and cobwebs. The refrigerator was not completely clean. There was a hole in the wall above the AC unit. The bathroom door had been kicked in previously and barely patched on either side. There was a patch done on the wall outside the bathroom, not painted. There was wadded up wet toilet paper in the corner of the ceiling and the wall above the shower, not sure why? There was dried vomit on the wall next to the bathroom sink and dried blood droplets by the bathroom door inside the bathroom. It was a disaster. I've never seen anything like this before in my life. DO NOT STAY HERE! We did not stay, we demanded a refund and left! They did not give us a refund and I will be contacting Hotels.com.

I would strongly advise against staying at this hotel. Upon arrival, we found the room to be dirty, unsanitary, and reeking of urine. It was in no condition to stay in — we immediately left and had to find alternative accommodations at our own expense. When we contacted management to request a refund, they refused to take responsibility for the condition of the room and denied the request, despite the fact that we couldn’t even stay there due to how unclean it was. This was an incredibly disappointing experience, and the lack of accountability from the hotel made it even worse. Save yourself the stress and stay somewhere else.

All Good, Will Be Back

Was exactly what I needed for a solo bday trip to the area. Minimal, friendly, clean. Didn’t mind that it’s obvious the place has been there a while. The parking lot has a huge pothole, which isn’t great. Just drive around it and be grateful for the great price and nature at your doorstep.

I did not like it at all. Checked out at 8am and did not stay the second night. Nothing was accessible and the property did not have wifi. The entire listing is a misrepresentation.

The room the electric did not work in the bathroom or one wall of the room. I told the owner and he came and looked and said I will fix it. He played around and the electric for the air went out, then the tv electric went out. He never fixed it
