A good country rest

My room was comfortable and exceptionally quiet. I liked having open space outside my window, seeing birds and bunnies. The bathroom area was basic but enough for me as a single person. Front desk people were helpful. People seemed to enjoy the pool and rec area.

Check in was easy. Clerk gave excellent instructions for the room, parking, area, etc. Room was roomy. The shower had hot water nearly immediately. Overall great stay

Tub had a slow drain, and sink plunger didn't seal. Property dated/worn, but was clean. Walls are pretty thin and rooms that face parking mean minor distractions that can make it hard to sleep. Wasn't terrible, but I'd probably look for another place to stay if I was in the area again.

I used this hotel as a base for visiting Taliesin, and it worked very well. This is a basic hotel, but everything worked, it was very reasonably priced, it was clean, and the staff was very nice. I noticed it had a nice indoor pool as well. Good stay and good value for the price.

Great place to stay a night before visiting Taliesin, which is only 8 min away. Round Barn Lodge has a distinctive design itself, and my upper level room had a vaulted ceiling which gave a spacious feel to the room. Comfy bed, and staff was friendly and helpful. Short drive to the Riverside Resort which has beautiful outdoor dining along the river, and the General Store, which has delicious healthy food options.
