Overall the hotel was nice, the room was clean and breakfast was done really well. The coffee provided downstairs by Royal something was great coffee and the available 3 real creamer options was awesome. However, we booked this hotel over a very similar hotel, not two blocks away, because of the pool/spa and the entire stay, the spa was out of commission and we were unable to use it. The room did have a nice layout, however the comforter on the bed was so old that the stuffing was far from full nor staying in place, it was like a down pillow stuffed all up away from the edges. The odd light switches that have on/auto/off also did not work properly and the bathroom sink light did not work at all. Lastly, the insulation of the building itself kept the noise out from the neighbors to the sides of us and mostly any hallway noise, yet we had to call and go down to the desk to complain multiple times a night 3 of the 4 nights we stayed, one of which was well past 12:30 AM, so that was not very pleasant. Overall, due to the lights not functioning, spa not being noted as out of commission, and mostly due to the uncontrollable noise above late into the night, I'm not sure I'd stay here again, if I did, I'd call ahead for a thorough conversation about these issues. Our trip was for an elderly family member with cancer and I am disabled, so we did NOT want to change rooms, as I needed to drive a lot. However traveling with my service dog, the poop bags and grass outside were great.
