There was a terrible sewer gas type smell throughout the hotel that never went away during our stay. Several other guests I talked to had the same comment. When I checked out, the lady at the front desk did not seem concerned and I felt she brushed me off. We have stayed at several other La Quintas thru the years and loved all of our stays up until this most recent one in Granbury.

My stay was generally good. I would probably stay again. The front desk was very kind. However, there was an odd sharp smell on the main floor. If that had been same on the third floor where I stayed I would not have been able to tolerate it. The daily service was efficient to replace supplies daily which was very appreciated.

We had to check out around 6:30 the day we checked in because I got sick and need to go home. We had gone to Granbury to celebrate our anniversary but will have to go back to celebrate in the future

Everything seemed to be fine until we came back to our room from dinner and discovered there was no hot water in the building and would not be any until sometime the following day. We were not informed of the problem until we asked about it, even though we spoke to the desk clerk on the way in. The hotel refused to compensate us in anyway because we booked through hotels.com I contacted customer service at hotels.com and explained the hot water situation, and wanted payment stopped. I was told the itinerary had not been processed through the system yet and there was nothing they could do. The following day I received an email saying hotels.com contacted the hotel and my booking reservation was processed. Apparently, the issue of no hot water was never discussed. I am extremely disappointed in the management at this hotel and with the inability of hotels.com to resolve issues such as this. It seems that using hotels.com removes your rights as a customer.

This is a very nice place to stay. It is close to one of the main highways in the area, and there is plenty of good food to eat in the area.. I had a great stay here. Really enjoyed it. Shannon was really great at the front desk. She was quick to point things out and made sure we had all we needed while we were there. She was really something special.

Big and spacious room. However there was water damage in the bathroom with bubbling ceiling by the light fixture and buckling floor tiles.
The fridge had a very dirty wash cloth underneath it at the front, and there was dust and potential mold in the tray beneath the fridge.
Also noticed a slight leak from the sprinkler in the bathroom while we were leaving.
The front desk was never occupied, only when someone approached and rang the bell.
The assumed hand sanitizer in the dining room at breakfast was filled with soap.
When we needed more towels or contacted the front desk, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Your beds feel like rocks. They are horrible! I do NOT LIKE GETTING AN EXTRA $50 charge on my credit card when the room was paid for and the money taken out two days before I ever checked in!!!!!
