The rooms are cleaned and spacious, yet the owner operator lady is one mean old maid.
A homeless kid was walking down the sidewalk the morning of my departure, and asked me if I had a cigarette. I told him to come Uber and wait outside and retrieved two entamans doughnuts, a banana and an iced tea, along with the cigarette he requested. He thanked me and went on his way.
A few minutes later, Ms. Old Maid called me and told me i had to leave the hotel, and could not stay another day because I helped the homeless kid out. How sad I feel for this woman whom Lost all compassion with COVID’s passing.
Everyone needs help. One day you’re gonna need it and truly appreciate someone took the time to help you.
Shame on you Ms. Hotel lady, shame on you!
Otherwise, the hotel was great and Astoria was awesome as always. W
