Checked into a room that was not cleaned after last guest. No other room available since hotel was fully booked. Thank God I bring Clorox wipes with me for all out of state trips as I had to wipe fown the entire room.
Constant funky smell in room and halls of hotel.
Complimentary breakfast consists of some muffins and coffee.
Essentially, a transient hotel.
I was given the key to a room and when I got there someone was in the room. I went to the desk and didn't even get an I'm sorry just acted like it was an inconvenience to them
Being a extended stay place they ran out of dishes, cups and silverware and handed me paper cups. There was a homeless man who was always in the lobby every night. I was handed a dust covered coffee pot to use. The hotel smelled like mildew
The floors in my room were absolutely filthy, there was hair in the clean towels. The room above me were very noisy. The staff I interacted with were helpful.
Pros
Lovely, smiling young woman checked us in. Unfortunately we never saw her again.
Cons
The card key never worked. Staff acted like it was a hassle. It was, for me and my husband.
The blanket on the bed, which was meant to serve as a comforter, was thinner than a tablecloth. We froze. It was 22 degrees in South Bend.
The pillow was just slightly thicker than the blanket.
The pillows and blanket smelled like mildew.
Staff and suspicious looking hanger ons hung out in the lobby late at night and early in the morning complaining about other staff members. We could hear them gripe in our room.
It cost $130 a night but felt like a $50 a night hotel.
Other than that, it was a lovely stay.
