NOT SO QUALITY Inn

The hotel was not clean and there is no elevator. When you go up the stairs they are dirty and there is a terrible smell on the 2nd floor. They claim to clean your room which actually means they throw up your comforter (not even straight) and change out the towels and take the trash out. They don’t wipe anything down at all. That is it. When we turned the shower on a disgusting color water came out and the sink had terribly mild pressure. And don’t even think of calling the front desk for anything because no one is ever there to answer your call. We will NEVER stay here again.

Newly remodeled and very clean. Staff is very friendly. Stayed four nights for the Notre Dame football game which is about ten minutes away. Would definitely stay there again.

We were in town for the national baton twirling championships at the same time as a world series event for baseball, so most hotels were booked. We just needed one night on our way out of town since our first hotel didn’t have availability for the last night we were there. Check in went fine, but the staff was difficult to understand and communicate with. Disappointed that there was no elevator, and the condition of the parking lot and landscaping is quite poor. There was a huge wet spot on the carpeting in the hall, not sure I want to know what it is from, and the room had a very strange and stale smell to it when first entering. The room itself was clean and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast options seem very limited. There were a lot of baseball families there that probably were at breakfast before we were in the morning and the garbage was overflowing by the time we got there and didn’t look like it would be changed over anytime soon. Box fans were going in the lobby area, which was probably for circulation, but doesn’t lend to an overall good look/first impression.

This property is at a good price, but the hotel needs some investment. Pros: The area is safe, the staff is very friendly and helps out on anything you need. Cons: Theres is no daily room cleaning, you have to request it, The rooms need some renovation soon, the towels seem like they are 5 years old.

Check in was slow, LONG fingerrnails on clerk required SLOW tping. Pillows and bed were VERY comfortable. Dust on bedside wall lamps (though it was less dust than is what on my lamps at home.) Carpeting in hall threadbare. Checkout clerk was very nice. Fresh waffles, yogurt, cereal, coffee and a variety of juices for free breakfast. Great price through Expedia. I would stay there again.
