We would recommend another hotel
The location was great. The stay was fine. We did have to have our key cards redone because the front desk missed that we were there for more than one night, which was an inconvenience, but was easily enough remedied. Also, we were informed upon arrival that the last room on the ground floor had been assigned and the elevator was out of commission causing us to need to use the stairs. Normally, not a deal breaker, but again, definitely was more difficult on aging arthritic knees. Our only true issue, though, was the comfort of the bed. It was quite stiff and therefore not very comfortable for either of us making for a couple nights of not very restful sleep.
All in all, we enjoyed our time in Ashland, but will probably be booking a different hotel in our next stay.
