Our room was clean and spacious with a panoramic view but windows were horribly dirty that killed the view, curtains had yellow stains at bottom, Keurig was not thoroughly cleaned, beds were not really comfortable (felt old school spring like), furniture dated/worn, but was quiet and room didn't smell like smoke since this casino is NOT smoke free. Check-in was absolutely horrible. Shame on the staff on how they handled it! We approached the desk at 12:45 to possibly check in early and we were told their system was down, come back at 1pm. I called at 1:20 after lugging our suitcases around to Denny's to get food and told system was still down. Asked what they planned on doing at 3pm when guests can check-in, she replied we will get you checked in. Okay then why can't you go ahead and check us in now to prevent mayhem? We approached desk at 1:45pm to find a zillion people in line. They decided to check people in old school as we watched the staff trying to figure out a way to do so. They all seemed confused. One rep stated that a cocktail waitress would be around to take complementary orders for our inconvenience, NEVER HAPPENED. We got our key finally at 3:15pm with no compensation and NO APOLOGIES while the line to check-in was literally out the door. the Aquarius is pretty on the outside, but subpar inside. The $100 we paid was a rip-off as I stated in chain hotels with better amenities, awesome beds, free breakfast and parking for the same.
