Everything was just perfect! We stayed 2 nights and went on The Polar Express train ride while in Bryson City. The property is wonderful as well as the hosts, and we loved it so much that we are making it a yearly tradition and staying at the McKinley Edward’s Inn!!! You will love how great the rooms and property and everyone are!

Pleasantly enjoyed our stay after the Polar Express train ride. Room was comfortable & clean. Speedy check-in & an awesome delicious breakfast in sunroom with holiday decor along with some history shared by innkeeper. Highly recommend.

The Inn is very close to Main Street and to the Train Depot in the heart of Bryson City. The lodging was very comfortable, homey, and the room was very large and spacious. The breakfast the next morning was delicious and the coffee was hot :)! We very much enjoyed our stay and would come stay again! Definitely beats staying at a hotel!

Very cute Inn. Has that small bed and breakfast feel. We loved the sunroom. The breakfast was amazing and the staff were very kind and helpful. Bryson City is gorgeous. We recommend taking the train ride and traveling a bit south to the Franklin area to see the many waterfalls they have.

10/10 Exceptional

I was impressed by the overall experience. The owner is very personable and attentive. After a good night sleep on a very comfortable bed, we were treated to a delicious home cooked breakfast. I asked for a particular item that was not offered as part of breakfast and in a few minutes he brought it to me(wow) . This is a place that I would absolutely recommend to all with confidence.

6/10 Good

The inn was wonderful the food wonderful, the only problem was when entering our room on the first floor across from the outside fire pit Friday evening it was very damp, musty and even the bed felt damp we ran the air conditioner and bathroom fan but it did not help.

Texas tourist

the website did not tell us that we were booked on the 2nd floor but when we got there they changed it to a bottom floor because we are handicap. The couple that ran the inn were very nice. The room was real clean and the bed was comfortable
Debbie, 2-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

This was a really charming place to spend 3 nights. The staff was very friendly, the bed was comfortable, the grounds had been beautifully landscaped and included fountains and a Koi fish pond. There were lots of gathering places including an outside patio for viewing the beautiful smokey mountains and outside games to play. A tasty breakfast was included. All in all, a great place to stay. You do have to take a very short car ride to get downtown.
Edith, 3-night trip

10/10 Exceptional

Wife and I stayed at the McKinley Edwards Inn during a tour of the Great Smokey Mnts. The location is perfect for a visit to the NP and Bryson City is a charming little town with lots of appeal, a few nice coffee shops, at least 3 breweries and a few other respectable eateries in the area. But the Inn itself is also nearly perfect. It is very quiet. The rooms are very spacious. The outdoor spaces are great for relaxing for an afternoon or early evening glass of wine, read, game, whatever. And the inn keepers, John and Marie, are as friendly as you could possible want. The bed was great and the breakfast delicious and filling. Marie prepared a hot dish each morning and there is also fruit and yogurt and all kinds of breads… It’s not the fanciest hotel we’ve stayed in but it is certainly the friendliest and a very, very comfortable place to stay. Can’t wait to return.
William, 2-night trip

8/10 Very good

breakfast man seemed irritable with children

8/10 Very good

The unit we were in was on the top floor sheet. People should be told about those very steep stairs to get up. There was lovely room nice location, but the mattress definitely needs to be replaced. It was way too soft. The service was impeccable. The property is beautiful. It’s a lovely property. They just need a little bit of notice regarding the stairs and they need a new mattress up there. There is a hide a bed sofa also in that room and if they would just add a little stuffing to the cushions so when you sat down, you didn’t sink in the middle that would be great, but I do recommend this property. it’s really beautiful and we enjoyed the people who work they were and own it they were spectacular.

The property is beautiful and promotes a relaxing and restful atmosphere. Innkeepers John and Marie were very cordial and helpful throughout our 4-night stay. They have the gift of hospitality, and it shows. Breakfasts were delicious and offered a variety of options. If you're planning a trip to Bryson City, book a room at McKinley Edwards Inn. You'll be glad you did! We are!
