Hello, I am writing to formally document several serious issues we experienced during our recent stay. On the second day of our visit, the pool water was visibly cloudy. Despite this, we used the pool, and for the following three days multiple members of our family experienced persistent itching after pool use, raising concerns about water quality and sanitation. Additionally, several advertised amenities were not operational during our stay. The hot tub was not working, the waterpark was unavailable, and the slide was also out of service. These amenities were a major factor in our decision to stay at your property. There were also significant cleanliness and maintenance issues throughout the resort. In Building Three, the side hallways used to enter and exit the building were consistently filled with trash. The movie theater was in particularly poor condition—the floors were sticky and littered with trash, and approximately 90% of the seats were broken and would not recline. Taken together, these conditions reflect a lack of proper maintenance, sanitation, and guest care. Our experience did not meet the standards represented at booking or the level of quality we expected for the price paid. I am requesting that this situation be reviewed and that appropriate compensation be provided for the significant inconvenience and unsanitary conditions we encountered. I would appreciate a response outlining how these concerns will be addressed. Thank you, Vane

Amenities weren't all together , water slides were down in waterpark hot tub wasn't working in waterpark . Pool was very nasty jacuzzi in pool area gets didn't work . My room was 5813 tub was nasty has to call twice fir so one to come clean it upon arrival , there was a pocket knife found under bed which indicate the room wasn't cleaned properly . I left way before check out I paid deposit in cash they couldn't locate that I paid in cash manager then came from back and found cash in drawer because the safe was unlocking so someone put cash in a random drawer . Elevators were down . Galway smelled like smoke .

We did not get breakfast. We were need to believe our was included with our stay. You can only get coffee from 7-8 or 4-5 otherwise you have to not your own. There were supposed to be movies and noone was there, empty dark room no concessions. No outlet for phone right side of bed. Only decaf coffee in room with just 1 packet of sugar and 1 packet of powder creamer. Good for low budget family outing. Likely better on warmer months to take advantage of outdoor activities. However being the weekend right before Christmas I expected to see the Christmas lights all on and that was not the case. The facility overall definitely need some updates but overall was an okay stay

My stay here was amazing. I was surprised when I recieved a call from the resort prior to my stay to see if I had any questions. I was delighted with the low cost to stay there and even more delighted with the room. I was upgraded for free from the staff since there were extra rooms available and my room was clean and quiet. I went out of peak season and almost had the building to myself. The room was nice with a smart tv and comfy bed. The kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans and even had a dishwasher. I spent the day in Jim Thorpe and came to spend the night. The resort has a lot of things to do that I had no idea about like a bowling alley, arcade and movie theatre! I was surprised to see so much on the property. Be sure to ask for directions though, its a large property and can get confusing quick especially in the dark. My only complaint was that the sofa bed in our room was somewhat uncomfortable, its not a traditional pull out bed but rather some cushions that arrange to make a "bed." That being said a couch bed has never been the pinnacle of sleep comfort and that would not stop me from returning. I will definitely return, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the room and attractions were nice and I and my group were very pleased. If you wish to visit I reccomend you call and do a little research as there are nice perks you might not see on the website and you may want to plan your excursion since the resort is a bit remote overall I highly recommend!

The place is very affordable and clean. The staff is very professional. The one thing was that hot tub wasn’t so hot, the water was mild. The jets were not jetty, rather they were in the weak side. Otherwise, great place for the price.

DONT DO IT! Everything was bad. I read the reviews and hoped things had gotten better. They did not. 1. The heat is turned off at night. Why? 2. The sofas in the rooms are held up by 2x4s. There was a Kitchenette but nothing to cook with/utensils, plates etc 3. We had a hard time getting food. No one delivers to the hotel. The cafe didn’t have anything in it. The restaurant was understaffed. I told them I could take it to go and went back to my room to wait. 2 hours later they still didn’t have my food. They ahured me that it was done but there was nothing. I waited there another half hour and they came out with my food. Most of it was missing and no utensils. They gave me ribs on the house but it was actually another guests food. I had been there when he ordered it. 3. Elevator didn’t work. I’m handicapped and struggled to get up and down the stairs. We also had to use the service stairway that was very creepy. They had cleaning supplies behind the doors that made it unsafe to get in and out. 4. The property was smelly and was located on backroads that did not have street lights. 4. The pool was cold. The waterpark was weak. Most of it was not working or had cold water. I’m sure I missed many things. Overall it was a disastrous trip. We heard so many people there saying they would never return. If you want a cheap hotel then this is your spot. But if you want a nice trip for your family, this is not it. I wish I could get my money back. DONT STAY HERE!!

Kitchenette room - did not have any thing. No utensils, bowls, nothing to utilize. Security guard opened our door at 1am - to see if our room was occupied. Room is very old, outdated, not clean. I do not recommend

The property was very clean and spacious. The bed was very comfy put i recommend bringing your own pillows. The kitchen definitely needs to be updated and maybe some more items provided as there werent any oven mits or any soap or sponges for dishes to be washed. The place definitely has thin walls and you can hear what goes on in the next room. Indoor pool should definitely get a heater as it was beyond freezing. Also bowling alley needed some work done but was fun reguardless. All in all it was a very lovely stay and will stay again but just needs some updating....

The room was very dirty, as were the public bathrooms around the facility - so dirty in fact that when I entered the ladies room nearest to the main lobby, the floor was sticky, every toilet had excrement or urine in it or on it, and I refused to use the facility. The restaurant menu is very limited and the food is passable at best. There was construction happening around the property that made it difficult to navigate. There were large potholes and broken uneven pavement. The beds were beyond awful. Old mattresses that were thin and had broken springs that dug into our backs and hips. Truly the worst nights sleep ever. The blankets were so thin you could almost see through them so we froze all night long. The decor is old and dated, and it is extremely clear no one has put an ounce of care into the upkeep of this property since the 80's. If you have the option to stay somewhere else, you should.

The staff was friendly However, The hotel rugs are all stained. Elevator in main hotel did not work. Everything looks rusty old and dirty. The pool was freezing. The hot tubs looked like jelly and very dirty. The fast food area served food that was cold in the middle. (Breakfast sandwich & wings) The hotel needs updating a SERIOUS MAKE Over.
