I emailed the property about an out-of-character HOLD on my account used for payment. The HOLD remains on my account and (apparently) this is a NEW practice under the new management structure recently implemented to my chagrin.
I have stayed nearly 100 times at this property since February 13, 2025, and haven't had a HOLD put and KEPT on my account for more than a year. It is unseemely and annoying and very customer-unfriendly.
Specifically, hotels have a right to maintain a HOLD for "sundries and other expenses". This means the guest checks out late, causes damage to the room or is otherwise negligent or wanton in creating a reason to CHARGE extra. I understand this. All guests understand this policy. However, this property and her sister property have new management: greedy, customer-unfocused and willing to do anything to make an honest guest uncomfortable.
I have endured two unfortunate experiences at this property, yet returned even after a special offer wasn't made to me. 90% of my reviews have been excellent and all have been HONEST. This hotel is cognizant of my character, decency and financial worthiness.
Unfortunately, this hotel is CHOOSING to make me wait like "unknown guests" by keeping a 100 dollar HOLD on my account DAYS after I have departed....choosing to blame irresponsibly my Bank or credit card company for the delay!
I don't believe it and readers of this review should not fall for that feint! Are you listening DAYS INN ENGLEWOOD!!!!!!
