We had a wonderful stay at this resort. Rooms were clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating. They set up our chairs and umbrellas daily when we went to the beach, there was a little bar by the beach if you needed a drink. Room was super clean, spacious. There is a daily resort and valet fee, but it was worth it.

The hotel and property is absolutely beautiful. Everyone other than the person who checked us out when leaving and the valet team have obviously not been in any type of customer service role. I do not exagerate when I state they all need to be replaced with people having experience in hospitality. Very disappointed.

We stayed at Amrit Ocean Resort for a few nights and honestly didn’t want to leave. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, clean, and welcoming. The staff were incredibly friendly — always smiling, saying hello, making sure we felt taken care of. We originally booked an ocean view room, but they upgraded us to a bigger one, which was such a nice surprise. The space was spotless, modern, and super comfortable, with an amazing view of the water that we could wake up to every morning. One of the best parts of our stay was spending a full day at the spa — we tried different areas like the cold plunge and steam rooms, and just took time to fully unwind. The atmosphere there is so peaceful and relaxing. We both said we’d love to come back just to spend more time in the spa again — it really made that day feel extra special. Definitely one of the most memorable parts of our trip. We also booked the Sound Healing Floating Meditation, which was such a unique and calming experience. It helped us really slow down and reset — exactly what we were looking for. There’s a great restaurant on-site, and we enjoyed room service as well as some really good cocktails at the bar. Everything just felt easy, relaxing, and well thought out. Overall, this was one of the most peaceful and memorable getaways we’ve had in a while. We’d absolutely love to return.

I recently stayed at the Amerit Resort and Spa to celebrate my daughter’s birthday and had a mixed experience. The hotel itself is beautiful and well-maintained, and the staff at the front desk and valet were exceptionally kind, helpful, and professional. Their warm service made a strong positive impression. However, the experience at the spa was disappointing. The spa attendants displayed a cold and dismissive attitude, which made us feel uncomfortable during what was supposed to be a relaxing and celebratory visit. Despite the high cost, the treatments did not meet our expectations in terms of quality or service. There was also little guidance from staff—we were left to figure things out on our own, which detracted from the experience. Given that we chose this resort specifically to create a special birthday memory, it was unfortunate that the spa component—something we were most looking forward to—fell short. While I appreciated many aspects of the resort, I would hesitate to recommend the spa until improvements are made in guest care and service consistency.

Nice hotel!

Staff was amazing and so were the amenities. The only thing I would say is the water pressure in the shower was terrible. I’m not sure if it was just our room, but it was difficult to shower. Other than that, overall great experience.

Disappointing details that ruined a luxury stay

Despite the luxurious look of Amrit, several things immediately turned me off at check-in. First, the guest relations rep decided on his own that my dog wasn’t a service animal—without looking at any documents—and said management backed his judgment. We were charged $200 for the stay, making this the first time in all our U.S. travels that a hotel staff member, not a specialist, tried to “qualify” a service dog. Second, shockingly for a hotel at this level, there were no swimsuit drying racks. Four wet towels and two robes had to hang on just two hooks. Swimsuits had to be laid on balcony chairs, so to enjoy the ocean view we paid for, we had to move them to the floor or hold them in our hands. Not exactly luxury. Also, for a resort of this standard, a birthday card or even a small gesture would’ve been nice. But not at Amrit—they must believe it’s up to them to decide when my birthday is. We came to celebrate my 35th for just two days, hoping for a peaceful escape. Instead, these small but telling oversights ruined what should’ve been a relaxing, high-end experience.

Pricey but pretty room

Beautiful views. Breakfast was ok. Strange smell on the upper floors and in the rooms. Room was beautiful with a wrap around balcony. We were only there one night and didn’t use the pool but it looked nice. You could see the beach from the shower and tub which was a nice experience. Would have liked a nightlight option in the bathroom. Robes were made for tiny people. I’m not that large but they didn’t cover so we opted not to use

Hot tub takes a long time to fill and is so upright you feel like you are in a pot. It’s not very relaxing since you can’t stretch out. But the view is good.

Robes didn’t have enough material to close in front and also not soft material. There were slippers in the closed which I found when we were leaving. We didn’t try them.
