"It is a great stay, a wonderful experience."
Park Taipei Hotel
"The hotel is in a great location with a train station nearby, places to eat and drink, and with a great view of Taipei 101. It is clean and the staff were very nice and helpful. I had a great experience staying at Park Taipei."
Eastin Taipei Hotel
"Staff were friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities were convenient ($40 NTD for washer, $10 NTD/10 min for dryer, powdered detergent available for free). Communal bathroom cleaned multiple times a day. Room cleaned daily with new bottled water unless asked not to. Very clean common areas. For those who are into collecting commemorative ink stamps, the hotel does have their own stamp at the front desk! I would definitely recommend and would choose this hotel again if I return to Taipei."
Palais de Chine Hotel
"The Hotel itself is a wonderful place to stop, rest and relax, and eat! But the real magic is the people, and it really makes the difference between a hotel and a memory of a family, connection, service and a truly caring staff. Andy is a shining example, his wonderful energy, humor anattentiveness are top notch. His smile and open nature are a feather in this hotels cap. He made us both feel welcomed and seen. Serenading us with some Elvis while never forgetting our needs is a rare quality and Palais de Chine is very lucky to have him. Continuing the excellent customer service and personal touch, Constantine helped me in a time of great travel uncertainty, the dreaded international flight check-in failure. His fluent Japanese and care, calling Japanese airlines and going the extra mile, hanging in when the call was going sideways and finding the crazy naming convention in my airlines middle initial, and switching between English and Japanese, he deftly led the help desk discussion and found the unique path forward so I could confirm my flight and rest easy. He was a smiling beacon of service on more than one occasion. Polly in the Executive Lounge was another excellent help and her competent and smiling attention to our lounge experience was another win for this quality team. Definitely going to return here on our next trip to Taiwan. This hotel is more like a family, than a collection of employees. It made our first trip to Taiwan a more memorable experience. Bobby G"

4 tips for savvy savings when booking a hotel in Taipei
- Book for the cheapest times: When planning a trip to Taipei on a budget, consider visiting between July and September when hotel prices may drop to lower prices, making it an affordable option for travellers. For a fulfilling experience that covers key landmarks, historical sites, and cultural attractions such as temples, museums, monuments, cafes, and dining, plan to stay for at least 2 to 3 days. This itinerary provides great value for money while allowing you to explore Taipei's rich heritage and vibrant culture, ensuring a memorable and budget-friendly adventure.
- Look for last-minute deals on Hotels.com: You may discover attractive hotel deals to Taipei by exploring the DealsOpens in a new window section on Hotels.com. For those seeking last-minute options, the Last-Minute Deals section offers potential discounts on accommodations near your travel date. Additionally, Hotels.com’s Smart Shopping tool available via the app allows you to compare hotel prices and amenities, so you're more likely to see opportunities for savings. Enable email alerts or push notifications to stay informed about flash sales and promotions, ensuring you remain updated on changes to hotel availability and prices.
- Be flexible with dates: Prices may vary depending on factors such as the hotel's location, star rating, and time of year, so being flexible with your dates could help you save on your stay in a Taipei hotel. For those interested in unique experiences, boutique hotels may offer a more personalised service and potentially better value. When you book with Hotels.com, we will inform you if the price for your chosen dates is above or below the average, and if it appears to be on the higher side, we might suggest alternative dates that could help you find a more attractive rate.
- Consider your location: Hotels near the city centre usually tend to be more expensive, but with Taipei’s excellent public transport links, you might find a more affordable independent hotel further out that’s still well connected. For those keen to explore alternative, less crowded neighbourhoods or even lesser-known nearby towns, there is often excellent value for money. Opting for these alternative destinations could provide a more authentic and budget-friendly experience.
