Our stay at the Delano Homestead B&B was nothing short of wonderful. Tracey was more than accommodating, super pleasant and quite knowledgeable of the property and area. The building and historical nod was stunning and welcoming. Our room was so comfortable, well decorated and clean, it truly felt like home. An easy get away, with wonderful, caring staff and a robust breakfast to boot! Definitely on our list to return soon. I would give 6 stars if possible!

In a word: wonderful

One of the loveliest and most charming places we’ve ever stayed; I wish we’d been staying more than just one night, and intend to in the future. The historic house itself is beautifully detailed with furnishings appropriate to its era—the attention to detail is remarkable, yet fully outfitted with comforts and utilities of 21st-century life (USB charging ports, Roku streaming). The absolute best of both worlds. The breakfast was hearty and delicious, the company of other guests was delightful, and Paul and Tracey were at all times gracious, accommodating, friendly, and informative hosts. Simply can’t say enough good things!

Tracy was amazing. We pulled up and there she was working in the front flowerbed. After the tour of the beautiful house we went to our rooms immediately and unpack and unwind. This place and it’s history was very interesting. We had a great nights sleep in a very comfortable bed. Although there were 6 guest all together upstairs it was incredibly quite. We met some fantastic guest. The whole stay was amazing. Thank you Tracy and Paul.
MAGGIE, 1-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The property was historic, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Liz was exceptional. She gave us some great restaurant recommendations and was a wealth of knowledge of the immediate area, the home and especially the history of the home. Breakfast was as fabulous as the home was comfortable. It had everything we could want in a home away from home! We will certainly return.
Dale, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

This is a beautiful, private property with staff who want you to feel at home. The limited number of rooms means it is quiet and relaxed. Guests will find snacks, coffee and tea in the kitchen, lovely public rooms and the private garden to enjoy. And the breakfast was terrific. You can help yourself to eggs, bacon, fruits and pastries. Just ask for what you need, and the manager will make every effort to accommodate.
Pam, 1-night trip

8/10 Good

It was a lovely older house much like my own. Only negative was room too warm.
Mary, 2-night trip

10/10 Excellent

The name while inviting, belies its history as the living/gathering place of the Delano and Roosevelt families for over 150 years. It is a beautiful property on a quiet street in an historic part of town. It is well maintained, historically accurate and beautifully furnished. Instead of simply a brief notation as to its history, they actually had many photographs, books and news items going back nearly 200 years related to the families and their history for one to browse through. Breakfasts were amazing! Bountiful in amounts with a wide variety of food and drink options to suit most dietary preferences. Coffee and small snacks were available throughout the day. The owner Paul is an on-site, hands on person, very engaging, with a wealth of information about the house, history, the MA/RI area and many helpful suggestions which he readily shares. Likewise was Liz, the day to day manager of all aspects of the B&B. Not only was she also a great source of information and in addressing any needs we had to make our stay even more comfortable, she is a super nice person and a pleasure to spend time talking with. We fell in love with this place and will definitely stay here again when next travelling to New England and highly recommend it to others.
Andrew, 3-night trip

Beautiful house, full of history. Great feeling knowing that one of our greatest Presidents once roamed the same hallways. The house is extremely well maintained. Bedroom very comfortable. Paul and Tracey go out of their way to truly make you feel at home. They are both welcoming and flexible. Breakfast to suit all tastes; fresh and delicious. Other guests were charming and a pleasure with whom to have shared the table. Enjoyed walking around town, and sitting in the garden under the trees enjoying the shade and the cool breeze. Lovely weekend. Thank you.
