First time visit and had a relaxing time. Vacation club suites had full kitchen amenities. We brought our own grocery and prepared food which saved money. Free shuttle on and off the grounds and a cute trolley. Bad weather during our visit so didn't get to enjoy horse back riding. Salon, spa and fitness clubs on grounds as well.

Nice Family Stay
The room we stayed in was very clean and modern. No complaints regarding the accommodations. Timber Ridge water park was kind of small, very crowded, and expensive for staying on campus. It was very difficult to get a tube to float on in the lazy river, and the towels were tiny. The locker rooms were kind of gross and should have more frequent cleaning. Otherwise, the place was pretty nice with the rest of the amenities.

Probably won't go back
The potential was there for a great stay. The room itself was what we expected. However, the room had a strong fishy odor and the resort was unwilling to move us to another room (they said they couldn't due to occupancy). We ended up buying air fresheners to mask the odor. The resort did eventually provide us dining vouchers which we used for a very nice meal we wouldn't have paid for on our own.
How we wish it had been handled: We wish the resort had promptly moved us to another room. Or, if they truly couldn't change our room, that they had provided the air fresheners in addition to the dining voucher.
One additional note on the service: We used the text contact for some of our correspondence with the resort, and felt like sometimes it was probably AI, and sometimes it was an actual person. After the first night in the smelly room, we called a phone number provided by the text contact and got no response for several hours. Only after we responded to the text contact with a rating of 5 out of 10 did we actually get some adequate response to our complaint.

Great get-away!
We had a wonderful stay here! I loved the trolley... it took us to ski, to the gym, to the restaurants and back home again. EVERYONE at the front desk were lovely and accomodating. They treated me like I was a celebrity guest. I appreciate the price and the attention to detail.

i felt like low class
We were at the holiday inn which is part of a large group of buildings in a giant resort complex. have to get a shuttle bus from room to main building to swim or eat then shuttle back when done. for a significant amount of money more you can stay in main building.

Overall our stay was pleasant, however the pool was extremely cold which caused the kids to want to play in the hot tub rather than the pool. The situation was addressed at least two times to the manager and I also sent a picture of at least eight children plus a couple adults via text to the manager who acknowledged receipt of the text and picture. I did not see a change in the temperature or the amount of children in the hot tub. The bathroom drains and pipes let out a horrible smell which was rather unpleasant perhaps due to the unit sitting vacant for a while. The kitchen sink had minimal water pressure and maintenance had to be called for a repair. The maintenance engineer was prompt and did get the situation addressed immediately. Finally seeing as though there was several rooms vacant I'm not sure why we had to be next to a room full of guests who partied through the night and were extremely loud causing us to get little sleep, I believe housekeeping had to be called to their room late that evening. Despite my husband reaching out to the guests asking them to try to be respectful and tone it down, it continued all through the night, causing very little sleep.
