I love to go to Westgate with my family. We always have a great time. They have updated many of the common areas and have more eating options. They have a ton of activities for the kids and family to do. The room would benefit from an update, but we were just there to sleep. We were busy all day enjoying all the resort activities. I recommend to go with the kids. They love it.

Stayed here for 3 nights over a weekend. Enjoyed all the activities booked - horse riding, rodeo & the air boat and the surroundings of the property. Limited food options on site so would advise bringing snacks or bits to cook if you don’t want meat, chips or pizza. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend to others to experience.

lots to do, friendly people. Great place to go. but, there are some simple "resort" necessities needed. Like a complimentary Ice Machine, coffee in the room, water. if you are going to call yourself resort you need these items complimentary. Or don't call yourself a resort. It's more of a timeshare facility. Bring your own everything.

The Ranch was evacuated due to Ivan. They failed to call us or contact us to let us know. 2.5 hr drive for no reason not to mention the use of fuel when all the gas stations were closed. Received an email at 7;30 pm way too late!!!!

This is a great place to stay on Friday and Saturday. After Saturday night rodeo there is almost nothing else to do on the resort. The bar is closed after 12 pm on Sunday and reservations are extremely limited at their restaurant. James at trap and skeet made the entire experience worth it. If you have a reservation at the restaurant don’t bother trying to get there sooner as Heather will just be rude and make you wait until your reservation time. The bar seemed to be understaffed all night and was very slow. The check in process can also be very lengthy so be prepared for that. All in all, River Ranch is a great place to stay if you book activities and arrive on a Friday and plan to leave early Sunday. Note restaurant times and closures and be prepared to seek alternatives.

The facility was nice and clean but the customer Service needs total transformation. They promise one thing and then take all back. Then make you pay for it. I've reached out to the customer service via email. We shall see if they respond. So right now. This place would be fantastic if it wasn't for their poor customer service

I never write bad reviews but this property is very badly managed. - Rooms are VERY OLD and not well equipped - Staff is very unhappy and they look overworked. Therefore not pleasant -Very limited dining options. -*** The property is a ranch and supposed to be Pet friendly, this is a real joke because dogs are NOT allowed basically anywhere. I have a very well behaved service dog and it was a nightmare to be able to even eat at the restaurant. Don't advertise what you are not ! Will not be returning. Horrible experience and its a pity because they have so much potential.

My family and I loved our 2 night stay. The place is beautiful, the food was delicious and there is so much activity to do. The Rodeo was fantastic , incredible 90 minute show, very entertaining . Recommend this place for families.
