Positives: The room and beds were comfortable. The location was great for a vacation where our time was split between NASA and Galveston. Breakfast was good, with waffles, yogurt, cereal, etc. Biscuits and gravy on the weekends.
Negatives: Our room smelled like urine. We didn’t complain because it’s a pet-friendly hotel, and we have a dog so that was a huge part of choosing this hotel. But PHEW. It smelled. Also, there are holes in the floor along the corridors that have been covered with carpet. Like HOLES. Big enough to trip into with your entire foot. That was a challenge for my elderly mother, just navigating the hallway from the elevator to the room. We were on the 2nd floor. Staff is never at the desk. We went to the desk once or twice a day to get new towels or toilet paper, etc. and not one time was there a staff member in sight. You have to cough loudly a few times, then someone will come lol. Not a dealbreaker, but weird.
All in all, we *might* stay here again, but probably not.
