We arrived at 330 for check in. Was told room was not ready. They would call when it was. We drove around the porperty from building to building tired from our drive. Checked at 530 no answer. Again told they would call. Finally at 630, three hours after check in time I was switched to a handicap room that wasnt reserved by anyone. That room was freezing. Heater didnt work in the hot tub/bathroom. While it was quiet and the food and drinks were good.. our first night was ruined by waiting hours and then end8ng up uncomfortable and cold. Those logs did not warm the room. Again the staff was friendly but it didnt make up for not being able to relax and nap like planned before dinner. I have mever in my life checked in and three hours later still waiting on a room with no explanation for why we were told check in was 330 or no communication at three hours about it unless i went back in to ask. If i am paying for a room I want the room. Im not sure id come back simply based on that fact.

Good stay, would return in summer!
Good stay for couples getaway from the kids. Went this weekend for my husbands birthday and he loved it! Our room wasnt ready so we waited for two hours touring the resort. Deers everywhere! Love nature but deers near room doors almost about to chase us? Resort needs fencing, remodeling and room upgrades. Improve the resport with new furniture, decor and construcion, it will be 5 stars!

Nice Experience
The resort is nice. The location is in a semi-remote area there are ALOT of deers. To utilize all activities, summer stays might be best. To just cuddle up all day in the room then any season would be enjoyable. The sauna room heat didn't work, so 4 stars.

30 Year Anniversary and return to the Poconos
The hotel was definitely showing its age, but we enjoyed the stay. The breakfast menu was not available, but the buffet was very good. For the room, there were ceiling tiles that were flaking off at random times, falling on the floor and coffee table. The very friendly deer made the experience very enjoyable, eating from your hand and following us back to our room each evening.

Ugly is an understatement!!
I was there for 2 nights the first night the hot tub was dirty so I asked them to clean it but with no answer I went myself to the front desk to ask them to clean it they told me they'll send someone but never did I sent an email that was only answered after my stay, this place is gross, I highly recommend not to book!!

Checkin was a nightmare. Room old and not well maintained. We received a text that checkin was at 3:30, so we planned our arrival to be here at 3:30. We did not get our room key until 5:15 and the staff was rude about it. When we got to the room it was freezing. The AC was set on 60 - it was 46 degrees outside. We stayed in garden of Eden and pool/sauna floors were dirty, things were sticking to my feet. It doesn’t look like they cleaned the pool area in a while. The fridge had mold around the door and the door handle is coming off. The fireplace vent has What looks like years of dust built up. Most air vents/speakers are old and ready to fall out of the ceiling. Carpets by pool and sauna were stained and disgusting looking. Dinner took forever. We had an 8pm reservation and our food was not served until after 9pm. Server was nice and food was ok. My husband ordered prime rib and it was mostly fat (at least half). You expect there to be fat on prime rib but not like this. We made the best of it but probably won’t be back.
