Cannon Beach

The lovely Cannon Beach is found along the Oregon coast and shows off some of the best natural features the Pacific Northwest of the United States has to offer. The beach itself has soft sands and inviting waters, creating a stunning spot for all the usual beach activities like sunbathing and swimming.</p> 

<p>Haystack Rock is one of the most iconic aspects of Cannon Beach. It’s a massive geological feature just off the coast that looks as if a huge, rocky haystack is rising up from the ocean. Given that the beach itself faces west, it’s also a great location to catch the sunset, especially as the warm colours seem to warp around Haystack Rock when you’re taking it in from the right angle. Several state parks, such as Ecola State Park, are located in the area as well, so travellers seeking additional outdoor adventures won’t have to look too far.
