Retro-Time-Capsule
The Postcard is a step back in time! The service is just as old fashioned. The beds were very comfortable The hot water plentiful! Our only suggestion would be useable electrical outlets and a few more hooks.

Just okay
This motel has potential to be a fun, retro, vintage motel but has not yet arrived. Bed linens were close to non-existent for the weather (bring blankets), shower ran brown water from old pipes (could not bear to use), matress was uncomfortable, curtains are thin...

Un hotel que nos hace recordarlos años 60s, limpio, camadas no muy cómodas, pero tiene un buen bar, con buena música en vivo a 50 metros Aceptan mascotas

Room was clean and everything was nicely organized. However; The water pressure was low and the hot water was not so hot. Sink was slow to drain. And there were ants crawling on the toilet and other bugs crawling on the floor (pictures available), and my wife found a spider when she pulled back the bedding. The A/C was quite loud when it started running during the night. And finally instant coffee was not what I was expecting for $100/night.

No hot water
We stay here every year and this yr one of our rooms had no hot water all. The other one had lukewarm water. Beds are not very comfortable at all. I understand its old but still feel their should be at least hot water. Also parking sucks. Had to park down the street. Couldn't park behind cuz of no access.

They assign rooms. They give you a code via web, you punch it in and enter your room. No office visit needed. I had room 18, code 16. The door opened. I sleep. Next AM, cops pound on door. Lotta squad cars, like a terror-cell bust. Turns out my room was 16, with code 18. I got it backward, sure, but 1) the bleeping door opened, and 2) what kind of human or other sentient being fails to realize that having code 16 open room 18 and vice-versa is just asking for trouble. The owner, who couldn’t trouble herself to come by before calling the cops, hung back with all the morbid curiosity seekers who had gathered around and she seemed afraid to look at me. When everything got cleared up, the cops seemed disappointed. They don’t take kindly to strangers in these parts. The motel itself was no better or worse than any quarters you choose for just sleep.

Rt. 66 Keeper !!!
This motel is an older -say 1950’s- type place that has been well maintained. The place was clean and the mattress was superb — as I needed a good night’s sleep! The Lady during checkin was pleasant and efficient. It’s located in an area with plenty of restaurants and other touristy places - being on historic Route 66!!!!

An older motel on Route 66. The owners have updated the place, mostly DIY style, keeping the spartan ketchy style. One thin towel, a tiny bar of soap and an even smaller shampoo was allotted per bed. The bed was adequate for one night. The room had a microwave and mini fridge. Our group stayed here one night en route to our Havasupai backpacking trip so we left around 2:30 am. It was perfect for our needs. The earlier arrivers enjoyed exploring the town with old cars and silly named restaurants. We appreciated the contactless check in. Expedia messed up our reservation. We booked a room with two beds and they submitted a single bed reservation. This really upset me because we needed both beds and they were small beds to boot, but someone in our group traded so it worked out. Expedia does this a lot. This is the second time this year. I’m going to start booking directly with the hotels from now on.

Give it a chance. Don’t be fooled by the exterior.
The room was beautifully updated. The outside of the hotel does look a little sketchy, but do not be fooled by the exterior. Lots of room. The bed was OK.

Just needed a night stay for the run. It was surprisingly quiet for being so close to the street. Would have liked to check-in a bit earlier. Otherwise good.

Not a happy stay
Bed was great and we were tired so that helped. We got in the room and there was no hair dryer. Called office and she brought over one. Next morning took shower and plugged in hairdryer and it did not work. So I had wet hair and it was pretty cold outside. Tried to call office but they have no one there till 3 pm. Left message but no return call. I would suggest you do not stay there as in an emergency you have no contact person to help.
