To whom it may concern: I’m originally from Delaware but I now live in Maryland. I came to this hotel since I had to attend a class in the area for the entire weekend. As soon as I checked in, I inquired to multiple people about valet. I was told that there is no valet and that the hotel does not have valet personnel employed but you have designated parking spots and lots for valet. I then proceeded to check-in which the check-in personnel were not friendly or welcoming at all nor was I given instructions on elevator location, checkout times it was almost like the service of a motel. If I wanted motel treatment, I would’ve stayed in a motel. Then when I went to my email it reads Bally’s Dover Downs Casino Resort. I went to Royal Prime restaurant with my 7pm reservation and the waitress/server was not very welcoming nor friendly. I actually spent a significant amount for money to award these amenities and to have a great experience and am disheartened that this did not happen during my stay. My recommendation is, if you’d like to give the feel of a “resort” like what is in the name of your establishment, it better suits your business to give the service that comes along with having a “resort”.
