Let me start by saying that every single member of the staff were amazing - housekeeping, breakfast prep, front desk - everyone was friendly, helpful, and made our stay wonderful. Rodney at the front desk was just the kindest, friendliest, most patient person! I forgot my key - he came to the rescue. I needed more towels - he quickly brought them to me. I needed to report a problem with the sink - he took care of it. When we were checking out I jokingly said, "Well we will be out of your hair now!" Rodney said he was happy to help and it was not a problem. And then my brother realized he left his phone in the room...Rodney didn't even flinch. He immediately scanned a new key and handed it over with a smile.
Honestly, I cannot say enough good about every single member of the staff there.
The breakfast was ample and the kitchen staff kept everything stocked up (and did so with a smile).
The hotel was very clean and the soap, shampoo, and lotion bottles were full up.
My only ding (and so the 4 stars) is that we often stay in Hampton Inn & Suites and have noticed that they are in need of updates. This one was no exception. Things are nicked, the interiors are dated, the rugs are not quite spotless - Hilton, it's time to update these brand of hotels!
Over all, we would stay here again if it wasn't for the need for an update.
