Upon checking in the staff wanted a deposit (not a huge deal though paying online was suppose to have taken care of everything) and was very annoyed we insisted on paying that with a card and not cash. The room quality based on reviews online was expected to be “outdated.” It was actually terrible. The microwave wasn’t even cleaned out- the prior stay’s cup of noodles was left in. There was not deadbolt for the door- it was a twist lock on the doorknob. The comforter had a hole in it from what we assume was a cigarette. The “non-smoking” room most certainly had a smoke scent. The drawers had at least one bug in them, nor did they actually shut all the way. There were gaps between the door and the frame so the room was very cold all night. Would not recommend staying here, though if you’re looking for a cheap place, we didn’t pay too much for the room.
