We had such a great time at Aqua Lodge. Kitchen was clean and equipped with everything we needed. Some of the tools are brand new. The public beach was a short drive so we went to see sunrise. You can also experience sunset from the dock within the property.

Our accommodation was clean, well furnished and something just a bit different that we thought we would try. The area was okay, but our boat #1 was a little to close to the neighbours and their barking dog. The office is located across the island and house boats at this end are definitely in a better location. Overall good and glad we gave it a go

The boat house was nice, but there is no pool or beach in the property you have to drive about 5 miles you use pool in another location

Just ok

Pretty small. Main bed was in need of some help as it was sagging. Not enough towels for the number of the guests listed.

I would give 10 stars if possible! We are a family of 6 and had an amazing stay for a week. Starting with things I read other negative reviews about and worried about: Septic- yes. Sometimes you get the faint smell of a septic system. This is absolutely no different than camping, RV'ing or boating. It is not the smell of waste, its just the normal smell of the tank. This is expected in this structure of home. Construction- the nearby construction noise was there but never bothered us and we have a very light sleeper. Small living space- with 4 kids from age 17 to 2, we had absolutely no problems spacing out! Nobody even had to share beds! The loft was amazing. Couch a full pull out. Old or aged unit- our house was clearly very well kept, updated with beautiful paint, kitchen appliances, beds and the like. Nothing was aged. Moving on to our experience- the customer service top notch! We used almost all the amenities... bikes, kayaks, Swim Club pool, private beach access, restaurant recommendations, you name it. The house is setup in a way that you can cook full meals, sit your kiddos at a table inside or outside, enjoy the beach at two different locations and its all very quiet but welcoming. We will absolutely come back.

Great place to stay. Brand new cabin. Still smelled like new inside. So close to the water. They had kayaks to take out. Places to sit around the fire pit. Bench to watch the ocean and see the sunset. Can even snorkel around the rocks on the jetty. We even rented a pontoon boat from the place go out and explore. Nice place.

We stayed for 2 nights, very comfortable, very clean. The sunset view , beautiful. You can see some marine life . Definitely recommend . Will definitely be back again

We really enjoyed our stay. The view from our porch was amazing. Our cabin was clean and looked brand new. The free use of the kayaks was a wonderful perk!

We had a wonderful time in our cabin! It was very clean and had everything we needed. This is more of a "simple" stay so don't expect a ton of frills but the ac was cold, the little sitting area by the canal was nice to sit at, and the guest passes to the Cabana Club were so nice to use for a pool and beach day. It is a great cental location as well. The management was so responsive and kind as well. Amazing budget-friendly stay in the heart of the keys!

We had an amazing experience at the Aqua Lodge! The space was super clean and smelled great as soon as we walked in, it’s clear they take cleanliness and attention to detail seriously. The lodge was fully stocked with everything we needed: kitchen essentials, towels, and even organic products for the shower and sink (which they kindly ask guests to use). Everything was thoughtful and well prepared. Overall, we had such a fun and relaxing stay, we’ll definitely be back!

The idea of sleeping on a houseboat when your goal is to go fishing makes for a perfect combination. My son woke up and fished from the back of his room and or in the front of the kitchen. It was quiet and met all our needs 2 big beds and a loft for storage or sleeping. The only issue I had was the TV I needed to have an Amazon account for me to watch on TV. Overall it was a great 5 days.

When we checked in there were cleaners still working on the cabin and informed us that we were in the wrong cabin. This wasn’t true. The last day of our stay the construction crew showed up to work on our unit before 8 am. We were told by the front desk that was beyond their control. They woke up our guests! How is that beyond their control????

Marathon Disappointment

Aqua Lodge has two locations that were not mentioned in the listing. We were at the 47th Street location and it was poor at best. The boat was fine for two people for a few days. The property is not very well maintained. There’s a 45+ foot yacht permanently moored 10 feet in front of the boat completely blocking any view and there’s dogs and cats roaming the property leaving feces everywhere! The yacht haven location is much better while the 47th Street location is very poor at best!
