False Advertising!!!
So, I often come to Midtown to hangout with friends and enjoy the city life Atlanta has to offer. I usually stay elsewhere but it was way booked (as expected) for the holiday weekend. I found the closest to me when I was here which happened to be Crowne Plaza/Staybridge Suites. From the moment we arrived the trip has not been any type of satisfaction for lodging. The hotel is overbooked but still being listed google as available. I booked a King Suite with a Pull Out Sleeper Couch and a kitchen. I was not ever informed that I was going to be put in a different room from which I booked which happened to be a full size bedded standard room. I immediately called the front desk twice and went down after they didn’t answer. To no surprise, no one was at the front desk. Returned upstairs defeated and just went to bed because I had just gotten off the road and it was around midnight. #sleepyAF. By morning, I requested late checkout because I just knew I’d need more sleep. I went down and didn’t even bother to mention the wrong room but did ask for late checkout. Returned to my room to sleep and was awoken an hour later by a hotel employee and a housekeeper. I told her I asked for late checkout and she asks “does the front desk know that?” Umm… of course! She doesn’t know because there’s obviously no communication across any channels here. Employee to employee. Employee to consumer. Nothing is communicated or operated well here.
