Pleasant Stay
Hotel is located in a quiet area near Quarry Bay. It only takes 3 tram stops to get to North Point where there are plenty of restaurants and stores for shopping. If you don't like riding the trams, there are bus stops, and metro stops near by. My room was rated to have a city view. There was not much of a view to speak of. I think the advertising was a little misleading.

It was really good, apart from the internet, which was only accessible in the middle of the night or in the restaurant. I think I would choose somewhere in Central next time, to be nearer the Star Ferry terminal.

For the price, you could get a hotel more central, more modern at better location in HK nowadays. I was meeting some friends and that why I have stayed here. But it is a tired hotel and there is just better hotels in HK. It may be a choice of certain people. I will not be coming back.

I didn't personally stay here. I booked for my son and his girlfriend. I have gleaned all the information from them. They found the hotel peaceful and relaxing and most of all safe. My son's girlfriend is from Hong Kong so told me what area they needed to be. They had a very enjoyable stay and thankful at the end of the day for the aircon.

The bad - non-smoking floor we were on was constantly smelling smoke. - people next door kept yelling late at night in the corridor. one night i had to open the door and tell them to quiet down. - One day the water coming out was brown, i talked to reception, only to find out they were fixing the filter. you would think they post a note of some sort. The good - the location of the hotel was very convenient and - breakfast was good w decent selection. - the room was a bit tight w 3 twin beds there was hardly any space to move around.
