10/10 Exceptional

Very convenient location near Earl’s Court underground station. Also walkable to restaurants and shops. Clean comfortable room and friendly staff. Tea & coffee plus fresh fruit always available in lobby which is nice if you are on the go. Only negative was the lift was not working but the staff helped me with my luggage. Would stay here again.

All good. The only problem was the scaffolding in front of my window and the noise of the works they were doing.

It’s not a hotel it’s a block of flats with a reception. Staff were very friendly and helpful

Awesome location

Quite location within a upmarket estate. Earl Court Underground station nearby with good food options within walking distance. A short bus ride to Exhibition St, where some of the museums are at.

Brilliant value for money.

Excellent hotel! All staff encountered were lovely. Comfy beds. Price of room was great value for money. Fantastic air-con!

Staff was incredibly accommodating! The bathroom needed two things: more shelves for guests to use and a safety bar in the bathtub/shower for holding while getting in and out of tub.

2/10 Poor

Looked Like Bedbugs, Open Curtain Rooms. Bad Owner

The hotel is awful and management is worse. Upon arrival, the room had a broken curtain that couldn’t be closed and also faced the street. You would have to change clothes and sleep with a windows with partially open curtains. The staff tried to fix this by stapling the curtains shut but could not close the top curtains open to upper floors of buildings across the street. When I asked to cancel the reservation and go to another hotel, I explained the inconvenience of paying to get their hotel and of having to pay to get to another hotel, but that I would feel more comfortable doing that then staying in the room. I asked for a full refund. Hotels.com contacted the hotel and urged them to cancel the reservation and issue a refund, but the Prime London Hotel management refused to refund the reservation and let me leave and told the support team at Hotels.com, that they had fixed the issue when they had not. The bathroom door in the hotel room was also dirty with brown streaks as if it had not been cleaned. The room was old looking and had a desk without a chair. When the sheets on the bed were pulled back, there seemed to be evidence of bed bugs on the sheets that bed washed and reused. There were what looked liked bug shells and dark and bright red spots on the left and ride sides of the bed. The hotel does not have staff between 7pm and 11am, so there was no one to assist me. I had to sit on a nightstand for 10 hours overnight before being able to go another hotel.

Excellent property located on a quiet street. Charming London architecture. Just the way you want the place you are staying in London to look. Clean modern room with coffee and tea and water bottles. Comfortable bed and quiet at night. This will be our go to on any future trips to London.

The staff and the service were adorable. The hotel is located just 15 min from central london, a lot of food locations just few minutes away and a very quiet street. If I visit Londons again I wozld chiose this hitel again. Thank you for everything!

Great staff

Pros - Cleaness - Walking distance (5 min) to a zone 2 tube station - Very friendly staff - Near to Hyde Park Cons - Isolation is not a strenght (if you have trouble to sleep, you might be bothered with street noise and brightness from windows not 100% covered by courtains) I have stayed in several places in London. This is an above average place for the city.

Inexpensive luxury

Beautiful room with a huge, comfy bed. Lovely bathroom and all the amenities you could want including a fridge and a cute tucked-away microwave. Bed was really comfortable. I had a great night's sleep. Only niggle was the air con not working but the Receptionist came up with a fan, which was a great help.

Bed size v. small

Very pleasant with one important thing to note…A small double room doesn’t just mean a small room it means a small double bed… about the size of a single+1/3 - so smaller than a double bed - not really practical for two people - rather uncomfortable.

So happy I chose this hotel!

What a wonderful stay! I couldn’t have been happier on my first trip to London! Truly a quaint boutique hotel in a beautiful neighborhood. Close to Hyde Park, museums, Kensington Palace and a lot of wonderful shopping and restaurants. My room was very nice and comfortable. Very quiet and all the amenities I needed. The staff was incredible and friendly. My sincere thanks to Nelson the manager, Sol at the front desk, Joana for my beautifully kept room. And to all the staff. Thank you all!
Rita, 3-night trip

8/10 Very good

The customer service was stellar and the room was well-appointed but it was TINY! I knew by selecting an ‘extra-large Twin’ that we were taking our chances but we could hardly turn around in the room. There was also a lot space taken up by a wardrobe and mini-fridge.

I really enjoyed staying here. The people who work there were all fabulous. They were friendly & very conscientious. The only snag at all is that their WiFi was very weak. It would look connected & even showed all the bars, yet nothing would load. I was visiting for leisure, so that really didn’t bother me too much. However, if you’re on business or need WiFi for any reason, this might not be the place for you. I was on the 3rd floor…perhaps it works better on other floors? But overall, I was very pleased & will definitely stay there again.

Not a Great Place to Stay

To say the room was small would be a significant understatement! It’s right on the ground floor and you can basically see people walking back-and-forth in front of the windows at all times all the way up until about one in the morning. Also, the air conditioning does not work in the room at all, and there are no screens on the windows so you can’t leave the windows open at night because people can see and reach right into the room from the street and the air conditioning doesn’t work so the room stays hovering around 84°F! The bathroom has no shower curtain on the tub and the removable handle moves while the water is on.
Steven, 3-night trip

Not great

We booked 4 rooms. None of them had adequate air conditioning, one was not working at all. One room had stains on the bedside and chair. Our TV remote was really dirty. Top sheets weren't on the beds. Comforters are for twin beds, so when you push two twins together, the comforter is way too small for a 'double' bed. Two coffee pods per room but you had to go to lobby to use the coffee pot. After two pods total for your stay, not per day, you were charged 2 pounds each although they had enough tea to offer the entire city of London.

Ideal for short stay

Small hotel, but perfectly fine for a short stay. Decent size room with comfortable bed and good shower. Room was very clean and little kitchenette an added bonus. Great location, very short walk to tube and public transport and plenty of cafes and restaurants. Would happily stay again. Only concern in basement room would be temperature if weather was very hot!

Great in all areas EXCEPT poor aircon :(

Staff super helpful and friendly. Always wanted to help us with our pram and luggage. The ladies on the front desk were welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a great location - 3 minute walk from a tube station and busy high street. The room was very clean and has clearly been looked after over the years. There was a fridge with bottled water in, plus tea and coffee in the room and downstairs in the lobby there was access to a coffee machine and a filtered water machine. The bed was really comfortable with ample pillows. The staff also placed a fan into our room. We visited during the heatwave and the only downside to the room was the sheer heat. Myself, my partner and our child did not have a good nights sleep because of the aircon failing to keep cool. The fan helped marginally but it was absolutely stifling hot and so uncomfortable that we could not sleep. The air con definitely needs a look at. Other than that, it was good value for money and if they improved the aircon we would 100% stay here again!
