This hotel is my new favorite hotel. It is understated yet manage to wow me in every aspect. The staff are extra nice. Omi san who practically does the front desk and interpreter went above and beyond to help. He was patient yet thorough. We will definitely return.

6/10 Good

The Japanese style room did feel old and not particularly clean, the bathroom smelled bad. Sulfur smell in the room was too strong from the hot springs. No one was very friendly and I just felt out of place staying here as an American. Buffet was just weird, not very good, and extremely overpriced. Onsen was an experience though.

Great Stay in Noboribetsu

Had a really great stay in Noboribetsu. Staff was wonderful. Check in and check out was quick and easy. Room was spacious. The outdoor hot spring was excellent. The quality of the hot spring water was great. I will definitely return.

A very good hotel

Hotel was very good overall. The hot baths were exceptional. There was a lack of restaurants in use for such a high quality hotel and the one in use had a very limited menu. The breakfast buffet was extensive but not always to our taste. Bed very comfortable.

Disappointed for the buffet dinner

Really disappointed for the buffet dinner, some food is cold, no refill in the 2nd round of dinning time.

Peaceful & Accessible

Room was very quiet. There are 2 onsens, which rotates between men & women, if you are visiting, be sure to visit the onsens both in the afternoon/evening and the morning, you would not want to miss the big onsen! It was simply amazing, with outdoor onsen and a waterfall. Breakfast buffet was good. Dinner buffet was good, but you somehow expected a bit more. The staff were friendly and tried very hard to meet your needs, but their lack of English was sometimes time consuming, even with translating apps.

Great with a private onsen

We had a 1 night stay at Noboribetsu Grand Hotel. The room was really perfect, er opted for a suite with a private onsen. The food was nothing special, they had both japanese and western style. There were alot to choose from, but nothing amazing exept the steak, which was cooked perfect. Breakfast was the same as above, it was fun to try all the different kind og japanese style options. Staff was really kind and Helped us with What we needed. English was ofcourse not their strongest, but we managed with both some japanese and english. Overall a Nice stay, wouldnt stay longer, due to the amount of activities. The public onsens were also amazing!

The Hotel is incredible. It's one of the best spa experiences I've had. You do have to strip down nude and if that is not something you are comfortable with, do not go for the spa experience. However, you can book a room with a bathtub that is big enough for two. I will say I was dissapointed with the dinner and breakfast at the Hotel and there aren't really any restaurants out that way. If you are only staying one night, I would bring food rather than pay a lot of money for a mediocre dinner. That being said it was one of the best things I did in Hokkaido. If I travel to Japan again, I will definitely go back for at least 2 nights.

Nice although a little dated.

Nice place with kind and helpful staff, although very limited English. The room and facilities are a little dated. Breakfast was expensive, but sumptuous, although a little tough for vegetarian westerners. Nice Onsen.

The onsen was lovely and staff were very accommodating and kind. We were in a traditional room which had broken cabinets and in need of repair and renovation. There was only one coin laundry machine which is surprising for such a large hotel.

The onsen facility was superb. Staff service at the dining hall could be better.
