Ok I’m not going to tear this place apart with a really bad review but just being honest. For the cheaper price you pay I’d say it’s maybe worth it however I paid $140 for a single bed after thanksgiving weekend and feel like it wasn’t worth that much for the absolute sheer datedness and uncleanliness of the place. Let’s start with the old carpet, walls, sink and closets. Dirty and rusty everywhere and a weird smell. The sheets were not comfy and I’m pretty sure I had an allergic reaction the first night. Bed not the most comfy and the shower had bad water pressure and the bathroom was dirty and the towels as well and old and yucky. The a/c worked weird and did not always turn on when I wanted it to. The only plus about this motel is its location, a 10-15 minute walk to old town via the Bridge of Lions. Came for a solo weekend getaway but I really was not impressed nor thought the price I paid was worth that much. If the hotel looked better and more decent and not dated and dirty then maybe I’d say ok. If you don’t mind dirt, rust, uncomfy bed and sheets and shower without good pressure and nasty towels then go here. Next time I’ll spend probably 20-30 bucks more and head to an actually nicer and really decent hotel not just an outdated, rusty, smelly and dirty motel.
