Unbeknownst to us, the whole property was pretty much tore up. Outside the office area we were greeted by stacks of furniture removed from the hotel. We were told the hotel was being renovated starting on the first floor. Our room was on the second floor and was adequate for one night. The small office was extremely disorganized. We had a problem with our key card working. The two employees had to use a screwdriver and putty knife to pry open the door which the were aware of the problem in the past.Tried to eat the breakfast but after seeing how messy the small area was, moldy bread and other outdated items, we said no thanks. Hopefully their renovation project will be successful but can't imagine it will be anytime soon.

Room was okay. Carpet was very worn. Cigarette butts everywhere by the entrance. My wife went to what she thought was our room, but it wasn't, but the room card opened the door! Door to the room across from us was open the whole time, unmade, I thought it may be a crime scene.

I had a really nice experience staying at the Roosevelt Hotel in Wibaux. What I liked most was how friendly and welcoming the staff was. We really enjoyed our stay at the Roosevelt Hotel in Wibaux. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome and treated us very kindly. Everyone we spoke with was friendly, helpful, and easy to talk to, which made the stay feel much more personal than staying at a big chain hotel. The location was perfect for us. It was very easy to get to from I-94, and it worked out great for our trip toward Medora and Theodore Roosevelt National Park. We had a very nice stay at the Roosevelt Hotel in Wibaux, Montana. The location is excellent and very convenient for travelers because it is close to I-94 and easy to get in and out without any hassle. It is also a great place to stay if you are traveling toward Medora or planning to visit Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. They made us feel comfortable and were always available when we needed anything. I think the hotel has received a bad rap recently. It is a 2* hotel not a 5*. Maintenance was a little lacking missing light bulb in bathroom and paint spilled while painting on the carpet in my room but seemed clean and everything worked. Staff was friendly enough and no issues. For the location and convenience to freeway I had no complaints and would stay again without hesitation.

The only good thing about this hotel was clean sheets! The towels were grayed and flimsy from the 1990’s. There was no hair dryer in the room, less than half of the plug ins worked. The breakfast area was nasty. The windows were filthy with dusty drapes. There was no bedside lamp. The air conditioner was very loud, could never have slept with it on! We would not even shower there, we left as soon as we could in the morning. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone!

The entrance needs cleaning. The facility has a cat. Cat hair was prevalent outside the main entrance, and the cat smell was overwhelming in the entryway of the hotel. I do NOT like cats. There was too much fragrance sprayed to cover up the smell. The beds were comfortable and there was good water pressure. The carpets need to be replaced. The people running the hotel were very kind.
