We were there 25/12 and were given the complimentary dinner and breakfast. Both were very good. Staff were lovely even though they were busy. Somehow managed to hook a room without windows. I would be more careful next time as I did not like that, but it was only 1 night here. A bit claustrophobic for me. Overall a good stay but beware of no windows!

Location excellent, you stroll in the parcs and the city on foot. Train station literally 10’ on foot. Room was OK but a fridge was missing. Afternoon coffee + cake and dinner are included in the price. Dinner was delicious. B/F was ok. The lobby is cosy. Downside: 100kr (9.90€) charge for one hour late check out!

Not bad, food was good, but I had not good Night because of some voice coming from floor one under me of a door opening in the middle of night. The parking outside hotel on street was very silly and stupid because it's forbidden parking In odd nights number!

The building is very charming. We had a deluxe room on the third floor with a cute turret nook but the deluxe room on the first floor did not have this. Furniture needs a little updating but it is very clean. It does not have AC. The food is only average so we opted for our own dinners. The views are so pretty of the river. But it is intolerably noisy due to the huge outdoor nightclub across the river. Concerts on Fridays and Saturdays and open until 2am then the noise of patrons leaving. Even with the windows closed tight we could still hear it with earplugs in! Very hard to get a good nights sleep. Be forewarned. The concierge also was not very knowledgeable. We asked for help booking a castle ghost tour and after asking several times if the tour was in English (yes,yes) we showed up at 11pm and no, it was in Swedish. Not very scary. We are now in Mariefred and it is a much better little charming town with a better castle IMHO. Skip Orebro altogether or do a day trip. This bougie American’s advice.

Rummet var rent och fräscht. Men saknade klädskåp och dtörre utbud av kanaler på TV:n. Badrummet var en härlig upplevelse. Frukostbuffén var rik och god. Kvällsmaten var god. Bastun och gymmet klart godkänd.

Vi har boet på hotellet mange gange nu, og denne gang virkede personalet meget anonyme i forhold til tidligere. Måske det lige var de dage vi var der? Ellers et fint hotel med en super beliggenhed og fine parkeringsforhold som dog skal betales for igennem "Pair Parking" - Vi betalte 880 SEK for 4 dage - 220 SEK pr. dag. De eneste tre mindre gode ting for os, er sengenes blødhed og at de ikke hænger sammen, hvilket betyder at de glider hurtigt fra hinanden, og variationen af morgenmaden. Efter 4 dage begynder man at køre træt i udvalget. Men beliggenheden (og bygningen som er virkelig smuk) og det generelle udvalg af hoteller i Örebro, gør at vi bliver ved med at komme tilbage til Home Borgen, indtil videre.

Äggröran var kanon, bra kvalité på korvarna, alla frallor var helt färska och bemötandet i receptionen var riktigt bra. Det är långt ifrån alla hotell där personalen hälsar en välkommen när man kommer in och önskar en trevlig dag när man går: Kändes fantastiskt bra! Sköna sängar, kuddarna lite "platta", lite trångt mellan borden i restaurangen och stolarna inte så bekväma en längre stund vid de högre borden. Vi hade rum högst upp med en liten glugg till fönster och det var supermysigt, med ett stort badrum. Bra läge. Lätt att ta sig runt. Bra att tänka på: Boka parkeringen genom hotellet, finns 20 platser, inga laddningsplatser dock, men parkering i Örebro är begränsad.
